Protesters set fire Saturday to the Atlanta Wendy’s where, the night before, a black suspect was shot dead as he fired at two white cops with a stolen police Taser.
Angry crowds protesting the racially charged shooting of Rayshard Brooks, a 27-year-old father of four from Atlanta, also shut down an interstate highway.
Crowds of several hundred had gathered outside the fast-food restaurant all day Saturday, but began breaking windows of the establishment after sunset, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
A fire started inside at around 9:30 pm., according to the paper.
As smoke billowed from the restaurant, some protest organizers encouraged demonstrators to go home, but police moved in to make arrests, the outlet reported.
Brooks was fatally shot by an Atlanta police officer during a struggle after he failed a sobriety test in the Wendy’s parking lot.

Whew. That's kind of a long slogan. I wonder how many city blocks it would take to paint that on the street.

So, knowing what’s been occuring for weeks now, how crazy would it be for this LEO to shoot the perp without any reason? Unarmed does NOT mean un-dangerous. Cops are always going to be condemned as wrong from now on, no matter what. No shooting will be considered justified when the perp is black and the cop white (when it’s a black cop, the media NEVER tells you that and leads you to think it’s a white cop.)
Good, white cops will go work in the suburbs or places where they have the support of the chief and the politicians. Cities don’t want them anyway, and are now pushing to hire “more” black and brown cops. Problem is, they won’t find a whole lot of black men who are physically qualified, off drugs, have an IQ over 89 and haven’t committed enough felonies to be behind bars. So the departments will hire unqualified ones and the cities will turn into mogadishu.

BLM and Antifa have been waiting for an incident to create a big national protest during this election year, They found it in the George Floyd event.
My question is if the Floyd event had not happened, would this shooting have been good enough to create the extended national protests that we just witnessed over the past few weeks?
For more reasons than you know, the Wendy’s founder is likely very saddened. IMO, the biggest reason is that the current CEO chose to pay corporate money for political gain to attempt to buy protection. A large franchise owner had paid his own money to support Trump so the corporate CEO went the other way. Guess that money didn’t work out the way he thought it would.
