DALLAS -- Mavericks owner Mark Cuban implored people to have honest, uncomfortable conversations about race as a means of helping the country move forward.
Cuban made his comments Tuesday morning at an invitation-only event billed as "Courageous Conversation," a series of discussions about systemic racism and disparities facing the black community. The Mavs franchise organized and hosted the event in Victory Plaza outside the American Airlines Center, recruiting several prominent local officials to take part.
"I need all of us to really open up and talk to each other, even when it's difficult," Cuban said during his brief speech at the beginning of the event. "Even when it's not something we're comfortable with, particularly those of you who look like me, the white people. Because it's hard to discuss race when you're white.

White people need to hold conversations about race that make a lot of BLACKS uncomfortable. If I can’t look someone in the eye and ask why 80% of all murder VICTIMS in Chicago have criminal records, then we’re not having an honest conversation! If I cannot ask, “Who is safer? A black man just stopped by the cops, or a white guy walking down the street in East St Louis?”, then we’re not having an honest conversation.
And I’m not interested in a dishonest conversation!
Mr. Cuban, we would love to have a “conversation.” However, every time we say some the left doesn’t like, they cancel us, doxx us and try to ruin our lives and careers. So in reality, you don’t want a conversation, you want us to sit there and listen and keep our mouths shut. AT LEAST BE HONEST. And when we become compliant, Mr. Cuban, they’ll come after you.

Can someone please describe the desired type of uncomfortable conversation white people are supposed to have about race??? Because I am hearing plenty of uncomfortable conversations about race by white people. But they might not be the ones the virtue signalers want.
I’m hearing the stats quoted of white people vs black people killed by cops. I’m hearing how black shooting victims in Chicago’s lives don’t matter. I’m hearing how the media hides that “hero” George Floyd led a group of thugs into a home invasion where there were only women inside with a baby, and how he pointed his gun at the pregnant woman’s belly and demanded her valuables. I’m hearing how decent behavior is only demanded from white people, and how black activists go far past Martin Luther king wanting character to be important rather than color, and how today’s activists want the color of your skin to determine your treatment.
Let me guess that the above are not the uncomfortable conversations we are supposed to be having. BLM activists probably imagine we should be sitting around in plaid onesies over hot chocolate telling each other how we passed over a Harvard grad black candidate to hire our neice’s blonde best friend for that corner office. But we don’t do that. So what are we supposed to talk about? All the white people I know are doing fine with all races and cultures, until we are abused verbally or otherwise. At that point, some of us have a new fear or anxiety. Because we speak with kindness to everyone, but sometimes find different cultures don’t respond with kindness. They respond with anger. Everyone who’s ever been married or lived with family knows the world is worse to unbearable when someone around is always hostile.
I lived in a country that was so racist about race that they didn’t even know it. I ran the HR Dept. I hired the only black corporate mid level employee they had ever had. She was also from my country (USA). A year later, she was arrested for stealing from the till. It wasn’t because of her race, but do you think these racially ignorant people thought that? Do you think they ever hired another person of color ???
It’s not uncomfortable for us, Markie. It’s the other tribe that can’t deal with the trufe.
There is nothing white people can say that will fix anything. They do not want words. They want money. Whites who get behind this think that can somehow buy themselves forgiveness. That is likely to go like this:
