Lets acknowledge what should be obvious:
If someone can say I cant beathe, that person is breathing. Speech requires breathing.
And the courts will be overwhelmed, altho with the amount of lawyers in this country...there will be lots of “cases” brought
Spot on FRiend. The day of reckoning is nigh.
My sister was a cop. After 12 years she bailed. Not bitter now, just wise as to the game.
It won’t be pretty at all...
The new Get-Outta-Jail-Free card...”I can’t breev!”.
There’s a children’s story about crying, “wolf”, too.
They all say “I can’t breathe” when they try to start a fight with the police. Then when they actually can’t breathe no one believes them, especially if they can talk and actually say it.
God help us if Biden wins. You can pretty much get used to the local drug gang taking over “law and order” responsibilities like Mexico. The left literally wants to get rid of the police, these are enemies of this country absolutely.
I caint breed
Oh, if only...
Thinking the same thing
If he’d done that to whitey, nothing would have come of it.
Have NO fear Our suburban soccer moms and social workers have it all under control!!
Give Karen a badge and let her deal with her unfit pets.
OMG. That’s hysterical.
“What is horrible also is that the criminal underclass now claims to speak for and represent all black people. This is thanks to the leftist media, which never asks a responsible, honorable black American for a statement but goes right away to some rioting thug as if the creep is somehow a legitimate representative of all black people.”
Candace Owens has been busted by the internet gods for saying exactly this on Facebook. She’s quoting Shelby Steele, who points out blacks are the *only* ethnic group who hero-ize their criminal element.
Would this even be a story if he did it to a white person?
There is also another subtle trend at work: apart from the service academies, our nation's military commissioned officer corps largely comes from the nation's ever-trending-left colleges and universities.
I applied for and was offered a job with NYPD, in 1998. It would have been the first academy class in a couple of years as they had a hiring freeze. If I remember correctly, there was something in the city charter, or something, that stated that they had to hire at least 1200 folks a year to keep up with attrition. The last class they put in, which just recently showed up for training, had 400.
Rumors, good ones, that they expect to lose 4000-5000 officers in the coming weeks/months due to retirements and folks going out on 3/4 for being injured in the line of duty. There are 31,000 cops in NYC. If things continue as they are, with clowns like the mayor and governor running things, I’m thinking that number will be a bit higher. And that will be just for this year.
Now the mayor wants to divert money from the police to put it toward community programs, so I’m thinking that the number of folks leaving will go up and no one has talked about any cuts that may have to come to afford everything. So, there could very well be a 10% or more drop in the number of folks wearing a uniform and patrolling NYC, very soon.
It will truly be Escape From NY.
The worst parts about that are 2 things:
1. There are some truly nice, hardworking folks, that just want to raise their families and live their lives that will be stuck because they can’t afford to leave.
2. The ones that can leave are the ones that have supported the Dem’s and the Left for generations and when they do leave, out of arrogance and indifference, will vote for the same policies in their new homes that forced them to leave their old ones. They are unable to look in the mirror and blame themselves for contributing to this insanity.
How do you think the courts will be overwhelmed? I’m curious about your take on that.
Well thats better than the usual i have chest pain which buys a trip to the ED before jail
