A white caller into the Rush Limbaugh radio show prefaced his call by saying he is a conservative and Trump-supporter. Then he said his 18-year-old daughter changed his mind, causing him to be sympathetic to the George Floyd protesters. Rush said, "We have no idea what it is like being black and seeing a cop in your rearview mirror."
Well, I am a black man who has been pulled over by police numerous times in my 70 years. My first thought was what did I do wrong, not my skin color. Except for one jerk, every officer was polite and professional. To the jerk who gave me a ticket, I still say I did come to a complete stop at that stop sign.
Fake news media's campaign to demonize police and Democrats' vow to disband police departments are totally insane. Can you imagine what gangs such as MS-13 would do to this country without police intervention? America has over 33,000 gangs with over 1.4 million members.
For decades, Democrats have tried every dirty trick in the book to repeal our Second Amendment right to bear arms. They claim that you should always call the police rather than defend yourself. While still insisting that we surrender our guns, Democrats have begun defunding and disbanding police departments. Antifa has boldly announced that it will begin invading the homes of white Americans. Without guns or police, what are Americans supposed to use to stop anarchists from robbing, raping, and murdering their families? Harsh language?

As conservatives, we should applaud the movement to defund or eliminate police. The efforts are made in Leftist cities that will be destroyed. For America, the destruction and chaos in the leftist bastions is a good thing.

I’m a middle aged white guy, I’ve been pulled over 4 times for minor traffic violations. One cop was polite and professional. The other 3 were arrogant a$$holes on a power trip.
If they get rid of the police, the only thing left will be vigilante justice. They will like that less, I think.

I know that I have a tendency to dismiss creepy sayings from these people which appear to make no sense. Years ago, Obama uttered some gibberish about needing a civilian force, just as powerful as the military, in America.
We shoukd have paid attention. These naked Communists are moving to have it installed.
I lived in Piedmont Virginia in the late 70’s-early 80’s. I loved it. Naturally beautiful, historic, gracious people. I’ve been very sad to see some of the ways it has changed since that time. It’s one more ‘home’ that I wouldn’t return to. My parents fled Europe when the Iron Curtain came down, and all my adult life it seems that the places I’ve lived have been driven into decline by the lefties, who like a plague of locusts devour all things good.
I take it the immediate plan is to try to bring down Trump and the US with anarchy, leading to Americans begging for greater control in their communities.
But I wonder how much this is planned as part of the eventual replacement?

Democrats have been racist and warmongerers since its inception. Kill babies, kill old people, kill native Americans, kill blacks, slavery, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and on and on and on.
Disbanding the police is a money issue. The Left is using this conflict to sell it as they are doing the “right” thing. In reality, any red city government is borderline on bankruptcy. Dumping the police department pushes other to pick up the tab.
