Yo radu!

We've had a cooling period today so our sweltering summer ain't here quite yet.

I did all my usual Friday grocery shopping and a few other errands early morning.

Just relaxing now and FReeping.

Say Hi to the kittehs for me! 😺😺😺

Hey, I huffed and puffed til I about passed out tryin’ to blow rain back towards y’all. LOL

The heat’s settling in for the weekend and I don’t see getting outside very much during the day. I just can’t handle heat as well as I could when I was younger.
Sux gettin’ old.

In the words of the old World War II magazine cigarette ad, “Blow some my way.” Today is our last day of 112 degree heat. Tomorrow it goes down to the low 90s.

I’ll bet you’re looking forward to that. The heat that we get is too much...I can’t even imagine Phoenix heat!

Oooooooo! Lucky you! We wouldn’t mind a little cooling period but it isn’t in the cards for a bit. I will say the soybeans are loving this heat though. They’re really jumping up fast!

I’m not talking to the kittehs right now, other than to yell at them, because they’re all being BAD. Don’t what it is about this full moon but it has them REALLY fired up. Even old Jack, who’s a lazy lump. He keeps running back and forth from one end of the house to the other.

At least they haven’t broken anything .............. yet. LOL

OUCH! We haven’t gotten that hot yet but will have mid90s over the weekend ..... with humidity. This is way too hot for early June. A good chance for triple-digit temps this summer at the rate we’re going. It’s been a while and we’d be more than happy to wait another few years for that kind of summer. LOL

That is why I hate summer. I can’t tolerate the heat and I can’t go out because I sunburn so easily. And I worry about the kitties.

I can handle it for short periods but not long ones. That’s one reason I stopped going to car shows and we sold Baby.

At least now we’re in Aunt Martha’s house and it’s quite cool in here. I’d be dyin’ if we were still in the old house.

I do worry about Jasper but he’s been handling it well so far. Plenty of shady spots and plenty of water in his dish. I do let him in occasionally to cool off but have to stay with him the whole time. Don’t want him peeing on anything again. He didn’t do that until Simon showed back up around here. GRRRRR
