Who cares about the NFL anyway? Just turn it off and it will change, or go broke.

Drew Brees is going to be disliked by both sides now.

When you grovel before the liberals and say you were wrong and insensitive and all that, they still will think you are the enemy, because you weren’t with them all along.

You cannot placate the liberals and radical types. He will still.be resented for his original comments anyway.

The Raiders QB Derek Carr refused to kneel before a Monday Night Football game. The Raiders have and entirely black offensive line and, according to reports, they decided to let defenders go right on through and tee up on Carr. He had been sacked 16 times in the entire prior season, average of one per game. The game where he refused to kneel he was sacked four times and three times the center gave him wild snaps before Carr called for the snap and was unready, which guaranteed he'd be hit all three times. Again, very rare prior to this game.

The next game in Denver Carr got smashed on a play and broke a bone in his back while the linemen mostly just stood around.

Brees needs to be prepared for this sort of stuff. He's old. He's rich. He doesn't need a broken back. I'd retire and tell them to F themselves.

Most Americans are not divided. Our present situation is purely a top-down, organized riot, and political psy-op. Its absolutely marxist/statist in its origins.

The people behind this have been using blacks as a tool for decades, and they have created a small structure of activists and media who are expert at creating crisis and then magnifying them.

Kaepernick doesn’t get as much blow back because the media is on his side as well as many politicians

the way we fight back is to tune out the NFL and the NBA

Bullying DOES work. Bullies DO get what they want.

That's exactly what happened here. I had more respect for Drew Brees. Now I think of him as just another white chickenschit afraid to stand up to the thugs.

Apparently it’s more than just money. He probably loving playing and the only way he can play is to have some sort of bond with these guys. So he panders.

That was a favored defense here of the same from Andrew Villanueva.

Both cowards.

>>Well in Drew's defense, he knows that without his (mostly) black offensive line he would be a cripple. <<

A Christian who wouldn't have lasted a minute under the pressure from Rome. He should have quit first.

Dang, it's shaping up like the NFL is choosing to offend American Citizens and especially us Veterans - again.

I'll watch NFL whenever it starts, and if there is even one (one) player or coach or owner who chooses the playing field to dishonor or offend me and my Country, I'm totally done with the NFL.

As it is, I now might find it most entertaining that in the forthcoming season should the cowardly Mister Brees lead the league in interceptions thrown and sacks received.

.

Wrong to apologize. That is why America is in such a mess. Evil is now good and good is now evil. Brees for a brief moment stood tall, now on his knees groveling.

Actually I was surprised with Brees’s initial comment on the flag...he has been all over the map on social issues; so I was not surprised that he took the coward’s way out and groveled.

He is just another gutless, over paid jock with no clue about right and wrong.

Drew Brees will not be loved by the Pharisees, Sadducees, or Disciples. A Judas.
