OMAHA, Neb. — LATEST: Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine has scheduled a news conference Monday at 1:30 p.m. KETV will stream the press conference on air and on Facebook.
Kleine is expected to announce whether or not charges will be filed in the death of 22-year-old James Scurlock.

All because he decided to jump on the armed business owner, who was protecting his business.
It will be ugly. The downtown businesses were put on alert this morning, and suggested that they close and send employees home prior to the announcement by the district attorney.

Was he peacefully protesting, or rioting, or looting? It makes a difference.
Just because you call rioting a "protest against racism" doesn't make it a "protest against racism."
From what I have been led to understand, there was a great deal of window-breaking type activity going on. The shooter/business owner was in front of his bar, openly and legally armed. He also spent 5 years in the USMC.
The poor innocent victim (/s), decided it would be a good idea to “disarm” the business owner, in the interest of, you know, “safety”, so jumped on his back to attempt to disarm him.
After that, the big bad business owner must have gotten off a couple shots....

This white woman murdered by another Minneapolis cop? Never even reported. No riots. No looting.
Turns out the video shows the black kid jump him from behind in a choke hold. The bar owner shot him over his shoulder killing him. They just ruled justifiable deadly force for self defense and no charges. The black narrative isn’t gonna match what the video shows. Gonna be more riots tonight
Omaha DA needs to arrest those rioting with the deceased for murder, causing conditions where the deceased lost his life.

Don’t blame the man for shooting the kid- what do his relatives think shoulda happened? That the kid be allowed to get the gun? Sorry- not how it works- Sorry that their kid had to go out and try to take a gun away from an armed man- but they shouldn’t blame the man for not allowing him to-
