I don’t know but it might be a useful tactic to interrupt their democrat command and control communications systems.
Dallas PD just called a Code 3 citywide assist. All units go by stations and pick up “shells” (I think).
Something happened in downtown Dallas and it is a all hands call.

That cop should not have knelt on that handucuffed guy’s neck. and the guy should not have died. There should be a trial. and if a jury deems necessary, punishment.
All the rest of it, they should be flex cuffed, thrown into the back of 18 wheelers used as temporary holding cells, supplied with a few bottles of water and a few five gallon buckets for excretory functions, and brought in front of a judge and charged.
The ones engaged in assault, arson, and looting should be shot on sight.
And they just called it off.
I suspect it is just a warmup for later because at 6pm they did cancel all responses except Priority 1 and that is still in effect.

Strange. They said on Twatter that if the authorities want the riots, er, protests to stop all they have to do is arrest the officer involved and they will go away and peace will return. You mean to tell me they lied?

just a side note: Rodeo Drive retailers had pulled their stock in March over fear of looting during the CCPVirus lockdown. They had just restocked in preparation of being able to open again. Don’t know if they got back in last night and repulled the stock but I hope so.
