Floyd which claims he 'was awfully drunk and not in control of himself when he tried to pay with a counterfeit $20bill'

DAILY MAIL UK MAY 29, 2020

(snip)

The store clerk who called 911 on George Floyd complained to an operator about an 'awfully drunk' man who was 'not in control of himself'.

A call transcript released by the Minnesota Police Department on Thursday reveals that the caller reported a customer for using a counterfeit bill to buy cigarettes.

The caller said staff only realized the money could be fake once he left the Cup Foods store in Minneapolis. Someone followed him out and demanded he turn in his phone and the cigarettes before he was allowed to leave, however he refused.

'Someone comes our store and give us fake bills and we realize it before he left the store, and we ran back outside, they was sitting on their car,' the caller explained to the operator on Monday around 8.30pm.

Floyd was accompanied by two people at the scene however their identities are unknown.

'We tell them to give us their phone, put their (inaudible) thing back and everything and he was also drunk and everything and return to give us our cigarettes back and so he can, so he can go home but he doesn't want to do that,' the clerk continued.

'And he's sitting on his car cause he is awfully drunk and he's not in control of himself.'

Oh please there’s no evidence they knew each other. they worked at the same place and may have worked there at different times. the owner said she doesn’t know if they were there at the same time or if they met each other. A nightclub.

[Of course this doesn’t mean the officer isn’t responsible for the death of Floyd as he died in his care. But it would add to Floyd’s inability to endure the pressure of the knee hold, and all the more if he was resisting any time during the arrest.]

He might have died of alcohol poisoning or drug overdose. We’ll see.

‘to our white-guilt, cop-hating Freepers who dont wait until more evidence comes out after a racial incident :)’

yep, you’ve convinced me; he should’ve had both of the cop’s knees on his neck...

I predict Chauvin will say he didn’t have his full weight on Floyd and that he thought his pleas were crying wolf. If you can talk, you can breathe, so he could reasonably make that claim. But just kneeling there with hands in pockets on top of him for so long once he stopped struggling is tough to explain away.

Nobody is saying the officer isn’t responsible for Floyd’s death as he was in his care. But most understand this officer also didn’t repond to this incident with the idea he was going to murder someone either. Which is also a desperate attempt to paint the criminal, under arrest, as innocent of the situation he found himself in.

I don’t know how important it is. Maybe it’s not important at all. But Floyd and Chauvin worked overlapping shifts. So they probably knew each other.

What exactly you’re talking about? The thread is about the 911 caller describing Floyd as being drunk because he was stumbling all over the place and I said he probably wasn’t drunk, he was probably on something. do you know he has a record including theft for the stealing money for drugs? One more person on this thread calls me a name or insalts me I’m going to report your asses. go over to the DUmpster where you can call names and attack people like the children you are since you can’t seem to have an intelligent conversation.

“What was the official cause of death?”
No, it was totally something else that magically and coincidentally killed him in the nick of time so this “hereo” can get the apology so owed him for his awesome police work that he demonstrated on video.

Yeah, I’m well aware of the talking points, and they sound as pathetic and desperate as when they were floated yesterday.

Well it was reported one of the officers said to the crowd “Don’t do drugs”......so apparently this was suspect.

We’re seeing new information every day. we have the 911 call that says Floyd was drunk and not in control of himself. It seems the bogus twenty may have been discovered after the 911 call.

That won’t absolve the LEO of his action. The charge may have to be reduced.

So far we’re not seeing an explanation for the eight minutes.

I work at a bar, I do it all the time. Additionally if they’ve had too much to drink I have a responsibility to get them into a cab so they get home safely. If you can’t handle the job find another one.

You are assuming that he died because of the knee to the neck. We don’t know if that is the case. We also don’t know what precipitated 3 cops holding him down. Conveniently our watchdog media has not found any video showing WHY the 3 officers pinned him to the ground. Did they think he was on PCP? That he might hurt himself or others even while handcuffed?
Obviously kneeling on the neck was excessive. My gut is that the officer did it not out of spite but as a way to pin the guy down while at the same time being in a position to be able to watch the crowd that was starting to gather In other words as a safety precaution for himself and the other officers. Not saying he was right. But based on his demeanor, I believe that was his motive.
Until we see an autopsy and more video we should withhold judgment. I am open minded.

“Nobody is saying the officer isn’t responsible for Floyd’s death as he was in his care”

No they are saying he isnt because the guy on the ground was fat or on something that cause him to OD’d and die in the nick of time, and that the officer could not have totally killed him because he like totally only 150 pounds, and other such nonsense.
