While most of the U.S. has begun to reopen, some parts of the country remain under burdensome restrictions that can’t be justified by either science or logic.
Most of New York, Michigan and the Washington D.C. metro area remains under lockdown through at least Memorial Day weekend. Some beaches in Virginia and New York reopened over the weekend, but Democratic New York Mayor Bill de Blasio made it clear that swimming is forbidden, saying beachgoers who swim in the ocean will “be taken right out of the water.”
“Obviously first and foremost, help make everyone remember don’t go in the water. You’re not supposed to go in the water,” de Blasio told reporters last week. “It’s a dangerous situation to ever go in the water when there’s not lifeguards present. If anyone tries to get in the water they’ll be taken right out of the water.”
New York recently allowed tennis courts to reopen, but with some bizarre restrictions. Restrictions include bans on doubles tennis matches and, as one Long Island official explained last week, a ban on touching your opponent’s tennis ball’s.
“You can kick their balls, but you can’t touch them,” Nassau County Executive Laura Curran said last week.
Virginia Beach was allowed to reopen for Memorial Day Weekend, but also had to adhere to stringent guidelines. These guidelines include a ban on alcohol at the beach, as well as bans on tents, umbrellas and even boomboxes.

Why the stupidity?
To show “leadership.” Never let a crisis go to waste and this is where every politician, government agency head or manager (bureaucrat), some elected judge, can show they took action. LOOK AT ME WORLD, I DID SOMETHING!!! LOOK LOOK I AM A GREAT CRUSADER AGAINST THE CORONA VIRUS, BRING THE TV CAMERA’S.
It don’t matter if it makes any sense. There doesn’t need to be any true science or medicine backing it (See global warming - the gay gene - acid rain... We create the science and ethical arguments to suit the action, not base the action on science and ethics).
It just needs to be some show where you can claim you did something. It’s tacky, superficial, ineffective, a waste of time and money while in some cases damaging people financially, robbing them of their rights, or inconveniencing them but some turd can stand in front of a microphone and pretend they did something. What is really sad is that there is no record being kept and those assholes that did these things will not be held accountable later when the narrative changes. In a few months when jobs and the economy, people not having gotten their vaccines, a spike in heart attack fatalities become top stories, the same assholes that CREATED those issues with their corona virus knee jerk idiocy will tell us how to fix those problems.
So nobody has to get rescued?

Didn’t LA’s mayor Garcetti put rules in place that you could go to the beach if you went on the wet sand, but not the dry sand? I guess he didn’t figure that in order to get to the wet sand, you had to traverse the dry sand. Idiot.

They must lie to get elected, they have no choice, if they told the truth, no one would ever elect them.
So lie from start to the point they are exposed and tell another unbelievable lie on top of that.
With support from the media and the ComDems, they have both been totally exposed for the frauds they actually are.
The only people who believe them are the useful idiots and the people the media brainwashed. But there are some who know what the charade is, but they do it for the money.

There will be no fun of any kind.
Here in NH the city of Nashua is stating that you must wear a mask at all times or the police will fine you $1000.
So, do you think I am going to go into Nashua unless it is absolutely necessary. No Way. Why would I go sit outside at a restaurant in Nashua if I have to wear a mask. When I can go to a town next door and NOT wear a mask. Smart move Nashua Mayor.
This just really demonstrates that most government workers and rulemakers are from the low end of the bell curve.
