On Monday morning, people woke up to a video on Twitter showing masked customers in a Staten Island grocery store screaming obscenities at a woman without a mask and shouting at her to “get out.” It’s an alarming video because it shows how quickly people can be turned into human weapons when fear powers them.

I would have stood my ground and see if they would hit me, kick me. And the camera would tell the world what these people are like.

Unlike the Costco “incident” last week, nothing in the article stated that the grocery store required that everyone wear masks.
If the store did, the owner would be exercising their right to do so, and the maskless customer should probably be happy they weren’t physically assaulted.

I work in grocery stores as a vendor for Canada Dry/Snapple. Occasionally I see someone take their mask down when no one is looking. If I see them, I usually tell them I’m Sergeant Schultz “I see nothing.”
Remarkable how many people with magic diagnostic powers and licenses to practice medicine would know that their target did not have any condition that might prevent her wearing a mask, but just jump to the terror shaming and threatening phase.
I lived in the Bronx my entire life until 3 years ago. I stay in touch via the local Community Board FB page. Over the weekend there was a mini riot over people jumping on to a NYC Bus. They were the usual Amish and people on the thread were totally losing it. It evolved into a political fight over wearing Masks??? I couldn’t believe the vitriol being pushed around. Things are getting real crazy. The left, at least in NYC is winning this battle, it appears. Most notably is that before the virus, most on the thread were pro Trump. Did see a lot of new names though. They are fighting HARD!
Ha ha! (I’m 57 and I wonder if anyone much younger would get that reference anymore. Ha!)
Entirely predictable.
The left is going to promulgate violence on any issue on which we do not bow down. They have been told over and over by their leaders that violence against others is acceptable and desired.
There is never going to be peaceful coexistence with the left for those of us that don’t join the mob.
