New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Saturday doubled down on his state's now-scrapped nursing home policy that critics say contributed to thousands of coronavirus deaths and instead blamed the problem on President Trump and his administration.
"New York followed the president's agency guidance," Cuomo said Saturday at his press conference. ".... What New York did was follow what the Republican Administration said to do. That's not my attempt to politicize it. It's my attempt to depoliticize it. So don't criticize the state for following the president's policy."
Cuomo has been under scrutiny from GOP politicians who say the governor should have never allowed recovering coronavirus patients to leave hospitals and go back to their residential nursing homes to spread the contagious virus.

There is enough pent up anger over this megalomaniac and his posse of thugs that this might just take him down. I hope the President’s DOJ will take a hand at this too. Time for justice!

So his people made sure the homes had a safe place to isolate people first? It never occurred to this guy or any of the people working to make sure they distributed the PPE that the feds gave to the state to the nursing homes before sending patients to them?
Florida specifically prohibited placing the ChiCom virus infected into nursing homes. Both states have nearly the same population but the causality count in Florida was much less. Cuomo not only had the highest rate per 100000 of any state but the highest in the world!

This is Cuomo’s attempt to blame Trump for the many deaths that he and only he caused.
The order was signed by Cuomo, not Trump.
Why do all liberals lies so much. Do none of them have enough honesty or personal ethics to stand up in their big boy panties and be responsible for their own actions?
The answer to that question is NO, They have zero personal integrity and are all dishonest LIARS.
Why do we not simply look at the signature on the order to put seniors with the chinese virus back into nursing home and we can all see who signed it.

If his first Executive Order was following the government’s guidelines regarding the placing of people with the virus into nursing homes after being discharged from hospitals, why then did he just do a complete 180 degree turn in his newly revised Executive Order?

Trump better be ready several rat Governors did this and they will back Cuomo’s story and MSM will hang this on Trump’s neck.
They didn't in Michigan. I just read today that the 20 year old black man who beat the elderly white man on video, was in the nursing home because he is positive for the virus, along with having a felony charges pending.
exactly- it’s mind numbing that lawyers aren’t lined up to take cases suing the gov for negligent reckless endangerment for denying HCQ AND for deliberately sending sick folks into places that house our nations most vulnerable and weak citizens
I don’t recall this being a Trump policy. Trump sent the USNS Comfort to deal with overflow and the Samaritan Purse set up a tent hospital in Central Park. Neither were used at capacity and both have left. This was a stupid deadly mistake Cuomo made on his own. What a great idea to send recently released COVID positive patients from hospitals and send them to the most vulnerable facilities for the aged.
Why not? In life any problem is ALWAYS the man’s fault.
Will President Trump answer this toxic BS? Will he defend himself and put the blame where it belongs?
