Normally, mRNA is the consequence of DNA being transcribed inside the nucleus, then migrating into the cytoplasm where it attaches to a ribosome and proceeds to create a protein by sequentially reading each codon for an amino acid, matching a tRNA bound to the correct amino acid and adding that amino acid to the protein under construction. In time, the mRNA degrades and is chopped up into constituent parts for reuse in another transaction

The fly in the ointment is that mRNA is never supposed to get outside a cell. It exists in the nucleus or the cytoplasm. What becomes of mRNA that fails to find its way inside a host cell? Exogenous mRNA deposited by injection is a fairly new technique. The intended action is for the mRNA to make its way inside a cell and leverage the cell machinery just as a virus does. The beta test for what happens in large populations is underway.

Thread is dead due to flubros. People get tired of being called names and put down not only by leftist but more importantly fellow FR. I stopped going to the rest of the forum for quite a while. Too heck with the nasty ugly comments outside this thread. Especially the nasty ugly from those who used to be friendlies here.

In Central TX, the charts are now including “probable” cases separate from the tested positive “active cases.” Don’t know if we’re short of test kits again or someone in the family tested positive and calling other family members sick if they’re showing symptoms instead of testing or what. Either way, the numbers for both are running neck and neck so I’m personally counting them both as having something I don’t want to catch. And in 3, 2, 1 before the nasty ugly flu bro comments that I’m the most stupid ignorant slime trail of a slug for such beliefs.
