We’ll see what school starting up does a few weeks after that.

This isn’t a sweep through and kill them within a week virus. It smolders and builds up a head of steam. It took a cpl months to do this in the southern states that reopened in May.

And referring to that particular article, tests results are delayed by a lot in most places, TX and FL both shut down testing facilities in hotspots due to tropical storms. So those numbers will be down irrespective of it being a weekend.

Being in the sun too long and having issues are also symptoms of the histamine intolerance. Inflammation due to sun exposure might activate mast cells. 10-15 minutes is actually perfect. That’s all I usually try to get. On each side. I flip like bacon and try not to double expose anything. After that you aren’t going to make more D3 as your process for that is full up for the day. Just don’t soap all over, reserve that for spots that probably aren’t going to get sun ;)

Five Test Positive For COVID-19 After Attending Sheriffs Meeting

The association “exceeded” social distancing guidelines at the event, Nanette Schimpf, a spokeswoman for the association, told The News Service of Florida on Monday. Face masks were required at the meeting, each table sat a single person and they were 10 feet apart, and hotel staff cleaned the area every hour, she said.

You’ve been saying it... it’s going to get ugly. All those people, retirement, life savings up in smoke, working the rest of their lives to pay the medical bills.

We don’t know yet what our school system is doing. They sent questions/survey to the parents. Our daughter checked that she wanted on-line instruction for our grand daughter.

Whatever the school decides it doesn’t matter, because Missouri has an online k-12 option for anyone that wants it.

Our school system just shut down last year and no instruction, because we have a lot of poor people as well as being a rural area so that a lot of homes don’t have the internet.

Our school hasn’t decided, either. They better hurry up as it starts in two weeks. I think it’s going to be 50/50 in class and virtual. Not good, imo.

We have a ton of bus kids as it’s rural. Some other schools are going to be doing zig zag seating but that’s not going to make any difference to the virus. Kids bumping into each other. Kids touching seats and other kids. Kids passing stuff between each other. Thankfully, they can open the windows unlike in the classrooms. Just wait for the spike of cases by Aug. 31. Our county is already has the highest number of cases BIGLY compared to surrounding counties.

I watched the Chad Daybell preliminary hearing yesterday. The missing/dead children in Idaho with the ever growing longer list of murders. Horrid monsters.

Anyway, so many at court had no clue how to wear a mask... if they bothered. They don’t know to put it up on their noses. How difficult is that? Also, huge gaps along the sides when homemade. What’s worse was the prosecutor not wearing his but playing with it and putting it back on his face inside out after rubbing it all over his table and then tossed it aside for the rest of the day.

At least the judge had up plexi-glass around himself and the witness seat. The judge made them wear gloves when touching evidence posters but otherwise they were gloveless.

Daybell and no attorney wore a mask. Judge didn’t.

The bailiffs wore masks haphazardly. No gloves as they were passing evidence between attorneys, etc.

A person would wipe down the witness chair between witnesses but very hit and miss. Every witness had to adjust the mic with their bare hands but the cleaner didn’t bother cleaning the mic that I saw.

Masks were hit and miss outside. When they were worn, again, hardly anyone covered their noses. Zero gloves. There weren’t that many people outside but they weren’t consciously social distancing. MSM talking to folks without masks.

The prelim continues today starting in an hour.

Related - The Amazon commercial with the Asian female employee who has her nostrils showing outside her mask gets me ever time it airs.

I wonder where we'd be if every one was taking prophelactic doses of HCQ or Qurecetin, zinc, Vit C & D3 etc.? If I had kids going to school-that's what I would do. Good nutrition and supplements.

My grand daughter hates school anyway-she's delighted to switch to on-line. It's not practical to continue with all these farcical measures. It would help if the rapid tests were very cheap and accurate.

I remember when we had sanitoriums for TB-the sick were quarantined-but the healthy were not. It almost seems that we need a place for confirmed CV patients, another for suspected CV patients, and a regular hospital for everyone else.

It's ironic that we went into the lockdown to "save" the hospital system and the consequences are that due to the halt in regular procedures and surgeries, the hospitals are now in financial difficulty.

***********

Don't remember if I have posted this analysis before-apologies if it's a duplicate:

Before mid‐March, overall U.S. deaths were trending at a level no different from recent years at between 55‐60,000 per week.

Beginning in the week ending on March 28, all‐cause deaths began rising sharply, peaking in the week ending April 11 at around 75,000, or 137% of Expected Deaths for the week. Immediately thereafter, all-caused deaths began dropping sharply.

Within five weeks, all‐cause deaths were back to their typical range. By the week ending May 16, the measurable pandemic death impact had ended even though Covid19‐related deaths most certainly had not.

At least in this 8‐week period, the Covid19 pandemic was considerably worse than a typical flu season. To the extent that all‐cause deaths fell back to expected levels during May, the excess mortality attributable to the pandemic has passed.

from Imgflip Meme Generator

Many states actually saw lower than expected deaths during the period. To be sure, an excess death rate of 5% for the entire U.S. is considerable but also far short of the apocalyptic narrative the pandemic has received.

Variation by policy environment To the extent that policies have varied across the states, it is not clear that the imposition and/or presence of stringent lock‐down policies had much to do with the variation in excess deaths. Less stringent lockdown policies were not associated with higher death rates.

In fact, the 5 states that chose not to impose a lockdown are among the roughly 20 jurisdictions with no excess deaths at all. ...snip...

Somehow, the changing pattern of American life during the lockdowns has been saving the lives of hundreds of infants, over 200 per week.

Deaths in infants and children occur at a higher rate in minority groups. So the reduction in childhood deaths during the lockdowns has meant that the lives of black and Hispanic infants and children have been saved at a higher rate.

Combining the number of lives saved in infants and children aged 1‐4, demonstrates a smaller but comparably large and beneficial effect ...snip...

“Since March 2020, routine childhood immunization services have been disrupted on a global scale that may be unprecedented since the inception of expanded programs on immunization (EPI) in the 1970s.”

Are fewer children dying because their parents are skipping their routine childhood vaccines? If lives are being saved during the pandemic, this is a question that urgently needs answering.

If I was going to have to be in a court room with a bunch of attorneys and judges etc. I'd wear a better mask, nitril gloves and carry my own disinfectant wipes and maybe an extra pair of clothes to take off as soon as I exited the court. Other wise, it's rather ineffective. More and More it looks to me like prophylactic measures such as HCQ+zinc+vitamins and good nutrition.

Ugh, same report from today’s hearing. Bailiffs still were passing around evidence to the attorneys and witnesses with no one wearing gloves. Daybell, attorneys, bailiffs and judge all without masks. The 10-ish folk watching wore their masks haphazardly. The court reporter was the only one who wore hers throughout. The witness stand cleaning person was also gloveless while haphazardly spot cleaning for maybe 6 seconds each time and still not cleaning the mic that everyone adjusted.

Good news is Chad is going to Dist. Court on conspiracy to commit concealment, destruction or alteration of evidence. Arraignment set for August 21 and 60 days to file for change of venue. Lori’s prelim begins Monday.
