Thank you. I’m feeling better than I had been, but still not there. I need to know if I’m positive because of my mom. Chances are it’s another bug, but the test is free and easy (not happy with the testing turnaround), so it just makes sense. I’m very lucky that I have no lung involvement at this point. Just a weird collection of other things conspiring to make me miserable. :-)

The thing I’ve noticed that helps be the most is elderberry syrup. I’m taking 2 TBS, 3xD and it makes me feel so much better, even for a short period of time. And 10 mg of melatonin each night. If you take nothing else, I’d highly recommend those 2 at a minimum.

That’s good to know about the elderberry, thanks for the update.

If you can, around midday go outside and get some sun. Unless you are on meds or have a condition that prevents it. It feels wonderful and you’ll get D3.

Good advice, but as luck would have it, it’s starting to storm. I think it’s the outer bands of the storm. But I’ve been doubling up on my vit D, which I take every day. :-)

Some COVID-19 Survivors Suffer Psychiatric Disorders, Italian Study Says

The survey showed that more than half of the 402 patients monitored after being treated for the virus experienced at least one of these disorders in proportion to the severity of the inflammation during the disease.
...
physicians found PTSD in 28% of cases, depression in 31%, anxiety in 42% of patients and insomnia in 40%, and finally obsessive-compulsive symptoms in 20%.
...
Finally, less serious psychiatric repercussions have been found in hospitalised patients than in outpatients.

New report from @VUHealthPol measures what experts have been saying since at least last week: Coronavirus has moved into rural Tennessee, where there are fewer hospitals and public health resources. Not good. Not good at all.

I can’t see what difference the restrictions make. Nobody listens to them anyways.

Until people either lose someone close, or have a spate of infections in their close friends some of which are serious...it’s all a hoax.

Hubby had a hoaxvirus coworker. Bitched constantly about wearing the mask at work, took absolutely NO precautions when not at work. bragged about this and called the coworkers ‘sheep’. After 5 positives in their immediate area, 1 icu, 1 hospital, 2 kick ass but at home and only 1 mild...the hoaxviruser isn’t complaining about a mask anymore and is taking it much more seriously now...

Significant Fall In New COVID Deaths And Infections In US

Bizarre piece from Russia, claiming deaths are dropping when they are clearly increasing. "Sunday had lowest deaths in a week". Um, like EVERY Sunday. It was the highest Sunday death count since the end of May. The "numerology" of this piece sounded remarkably similar to those who jump on and post these "it's over" stories based on a Sunday or Monday report.

Based on the "new cases" this wave has peaked, and will see a corresponding falloff in deaths within a couple weeks. Hospitalizations also appear to be falling off here in CA, but that info is hard to get on a national level. I'm optimistic that we will see a downward trend within 2 weeks, at least in the current hot spots. There might be more ripples, but hopefully smaller in amplitude.

I bought some liquid D3/K2 drops hoping that would work for me as I react so badly to D3 (maybe the cholecalciferol, a product of lanolin which I am allergic to, but I react badly to cod liver oil too)...

One drop of this stuff, and I get lightheaded, dry mouth, timgling and numbness in my extremities as if I had overdosed. Happens with every vitamin D form I take. I get the same feeling being in the sun too long too, except I also break out in hives. I’m ok if I am out 10-15 minutes.

Is it possible to actually be allergic to vitamin D?

Yeah, that’s my take too. Every Monday someone comes out with the “cases are falling” headline. I’m still keeping my head down, waiting for the long term trends.
