President Trump calls on governors to open churches, other places of worship [says churches are ESSENTIAL and must be opened immediately and he will override any governor who doesn't]

President Donald Trump spoke briefly at the White House Friday and called for state governors to allow for churches and other places of worship to reopen to the public.

Trump says he considers houses of worship “essential” and wants them to reopen this weekend.

We have liability insurance. The church could be sued. What if someone doesn't wear their mask(/S) or a table isn't wiped down with a saniwipe or the children run around and don't keep socially distance.....…... our insurer could sever our policy if we don't comply with all the guidelines set out by the government.

Any guest, a visitor, a non-member on the premises or even a member could make a claim that we caused them to catch coronavirus or their loved one attending our church became ill.

There are risk adverse Corona-fearing church leaders discussing serious re-opening concerns.

Yeah I have argued up to this point that he should be considered alongside Ronald Reagan (The Great One) but not above him.

But Trump has said so many times what we think, that he deserves incredible respect.

I guess being a teen and seeing Reagan not afraid to take on the USSR and eventually be the catalyst that destroyed them makes him a hero to me.

He also started a RIDICULOUSLY big and long economic and stock market boom.

It’s my bias that keeps me from ranking Trump above him instead of with him :)

An unnecessary move, IMO. Churches are opening up. The Dallas Diocese starts public daily Mass on Monday. Sunday Mass will be open soon. That ball is already rolling.

I am fairly certain taking the temp of my liberal friends here in Pittsburgh that this is lockdown is going to end soon. The Governors are under tremendous pressure to open and Trump has successfully pivoted this onto them. He looked like LBJ in 1968 but he turned his Vietnam into theirs. Trump signaled even if second wave NO LOCKDOWN guidance. The Democrats could not help themselves , they drank their own Koolaid. They thought extended lockdowns would get people even more dependent on the Gubbmint money. All it did was make people angrier and show how incompetent and broke these states are and even lefties love restaurants, open parks, concerts, kids sports and sending little Courtney and Justin off to school and out of their hair.

I'll quote a liberal friend here..."Nancy Pelosi needs to focus on re-opening the economy, not spending money we don't have". When you lose this guy folks, you lost them.
