COLUMBUS, OhioThe last of Ohios mandatory restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus, including a ban on mass gatherings and a two-week self-quarantine period for travelers entering the state, will be cut short, Gov. Mike DeWine announced Tuesday.
The current Safe At Home order will be replaced with an Urgent Health Advisory: Ohioans Protecting Ohioans order, the governor said during his daily coronavirus briefing.
We are now moving from orders to strong recommendations, DeWine said.

I heard that the Ohio Director of Health Amy Acton was not at the press conference because she was “not feeling well.”

Acton, who has been signing most of the states coronavirus orders (as shes the one given the power under state law to do so), was noticeably absent from Tuesdays briefing.
Interesting.

Those restaurants at the Michigan border should do very well.

Dewine finally smarted up and put her in quarantine.
The Director of Health that promised 100K cases back in March is still 70% off.... 60 painful days of economic ruin later.
She can come back after two months without pay.

"On Monday, DeWine said he was adding a large contingent of law-enforcement and health officials to the states unit in charge of investigating social-distancing violations."
What does the "large contingent" do after they "investigate"?
To: All
The official text isn't out yet. But reading the article, I don't see too much changing. People are and have been going out anyway. This "allows" gatherings of less than 10...I think. But bans gatherings of 10 or more are still "banned". Also big restrictions on bars.
We had a couple bars in Cleveland get "warnings" in the past day about inadequate social distancing. News reported that DeWine has threatened to pull their liquor licenses.
To: SoCalCynic
No, it was what Trump told the governors today. Hes going to go after them if theyre violating rights and exceeding reasonable orders.
I bet a lot of them - if they have any common sense - will suddenly see the light.

People are REALLY going to be fuming at Tom Wolf now.
The virus situation in Western PA and OH is virtually the same.

I wouldn’t leave Ohio for any sort of trip that required me to drive through Pa, Michigan, or Kentucky. They might arrest an Ohioan for breaking quarantine by coming to their state.
I don’t know how reasonable Indiana and WV are these days.

They pull liquor licenses, basically shutting down a business permanently.

Most likely just getting her hair done and maybe some botox.
