McIlroy continued, unprompted, by saying Trump has tried to politicize the pandemic, using as an example Trump claiming the U.S. has administered the most tests for the new coronavirus than any other nation.
Like its a contest, McIlroy said. Theres some stuff that just is terrible. Its not the way a leader should act. There is a bit of diplomacy that you need to show, and I just dont think hes showing that, especially in these times.
The hosts, Scottish golf journalists Lawrence Donegan and John Huggan, asked McIlroy if he would play with Trump again.
I dont know if hed want to play with me again after what I just said, McIlroy said. I know its very self-serving of me to say No, and if I dont, then it means Im not putting myself in position to be under scrutiny and that Im avoiding that.
But no, I wouldnt.

I hope Congressional Country Club removes every photograph of him.
The PGA tour runs a pretty tight ship. I expect Rory is getting some pr counseling and will issue a clarifying statement in 3. 2. 1...
Might want to consult with Lindsey Vonn before you make any more stupid comments Rory.
Why would Rory McIlroy even think anyone cares who he plays golf with???
I’m a golf fan and have played for years myself, yet I could not care less who he plays with...

Was it also politicizing the pandemic when Democrats said we weren't testing and other countries were handling the pandemic better than us?
Noonan! Noonan!
Trump folks are loyal and committed. This kid is in for some tough days ahead.
They won’t go that far....the guy did earn his title. Enough they just eliminate him from future invites.
Take him off the golf course, and he sounds like a drunk falling off his barstool.
Who cares what a non-citizen only famous for playing a game thinks about POTUS.
Next Rory will be dating Whoopie...
Rorys re-education has been successful. Although he may not be able to enjoy all the rights of a true Leftist, he will at least be spared complete social annihilation.
Who?
Take a lap Rory. Expect a decline from the TDS boomerang effect.
He probably has seen the snarky question from the Chinese American so-called reporter in the Rose Garden who asked PDJT about "a competition." Since the propaganda media thinks that disrespect by the media to the President of the United States is a victory, that interchange has probably been replayed many many times.
Her question, her refusal to stop asking more questions, the other "reporter" giving her the microphone after PDJT called on her and the end of the press conference make for perfect Youtube video for people who think that disrespect is ok.
More people have probably seen that video than have ever seen a full press conference.
Sorry, Rory, you should stay away from politics. I am a golf fan and had been looking forward to watching tomorrow, silly as a four person competition is. I will just skip it now.

They started out with the PPE, ventilators and beds. No PPE, no ventilators, no beds. All of those were supplied ahead of schedule and so publicly and in such abundance that they couldn't even pretend that it was a problem.
So, they switched to testing. Chuck Schumer has tweeted every day for a month that there's no testing strategy. Hillary Clinton has tweeted over a dozen times, "Where are the tests?"
So, now we've tested more than any other nation on earth, and the new talking point is, "You're treating it like it's a contest." They also tried it at one of the Wuhan flu briefings.
He didn't come up with that line himself. It was a talking point.
