At his May 12 press conference, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee laid out the plans for the statewide contact tracing initiative.
“[The initiative] is robust, it is vigorous and it is comprehensive, and it needs to be all three to be successful,” Inslee said.
“If we do not succeed in this second stage of our efforts, this virus could come bright back and bite us.”
As LynnwoodTimes.com’s Luke Putvin notes, the information Inslee provided was labeled as “Contact Tracing: Box in The Virus.” The steps were listed as follows:
Contact tracing involves interviewing people with positive COVID-19 tests to identify who they’ve been in contact with, getting those people tested and then making sure they isolate themselves and their families.
As the press conference went on, one question kept coming up – what about enforcement? How will you ensure residents comply and what if they don’t?
The answer is as scary as many have worried about. As Putvin reports, for those businesses/individuals that don’t comply, the governor stated that he confirmed with Attorney General Bob Ferguson, there will be sanctions in civil or criminal court.

When it comes to contact tracing, how are you guys going to handle people or families who want to refuse to test or to self isolate?
If they want to leave their home to get groceries I know you’ve said they can’t do that; how will you make sure they don’t?

One was a lady working at the post office exiting her office to yell at people who had come into the main area without “Stepping on a blue X”!” as she put it. She then told these people to go to the lobby and wait because she was going to meet them out there to tell them off some more.
I turned around to laugh at her stupid behavior as she stormed out and only one other person in line laughed at her with me. All the others were lined up standing on their marks and silently obeying like dumb sheep.
At a local grocery store I had a kid (18ish?) working there tell me I “had to stand on the red mark” to wait in line. I told him, “I don't “have” to do anything” in a non-argumentative tone. I started telling him about how unsafe and bad it was for his health to be forced to wear a mask all day at work. And out of nowhere his manager shows up to tell me to stand on the mark. I told him “no” as well and let him know where I stand on the issue. Then I returned all my groceries and promptly left the store.
Another story was when I was walking maskless in a store when two people walked by me with masks on and freaked out that I wasn't wearing one. One lady said to the likes of, “KEEP WALKING!! JUST KEEP WALKING!” to the other in a freaked out voice.
When you try to explain the dangers to their health of wearing a mask all the time that deprives you of oxygen and breathing in your own Co2 and polluting their lungs they look at you like you are crazy. How many fools will accept the monstrous concoction of a vaccine without questioning?!
What part of “I will not comply” are you still having problem with Dimslee?
It sounds like many of the folks in Spokane are ready and willing to disobey orders and open up shops.
I’m envisioning a cartoon with Inslee welding somebody’s front door shut and saying “Your ‘Citizens Community Planner’ will be by in two weeks with the food we deem healthy for you to eat.”
We also have a large Indian casino that is opening May 21. No tables, just slots, no smoking, no booze. Some gamblers are irate about the rules, others are ecstatic. Ya just can't please everyone!
I refuse to wear any mask from here on.

That’s exactly what went thru my mind when I read skypilot’s post.

I have relatives who are mask nuts.
They went from posting their rants on Facebook, to TEXTING multiple members of our family on our iPhones with their links to pro-mask propaganda articles and screeds (because people were ignoring their Facebook rants).
Two days ago the wife and I went to our favorite cafe for breakfast. Last weekend the beach.
Bars are opening and I have not had any problem going to the grocery store or home depot.
I live two counties north of Palm Beach.
Great weather, (most of the time), great beaches and most folks there are Northern transplants.
S.W. Florida has been growing like crazy so most things are new.

And ironically, or not, they plan to use the military to administer the deadly “vaccinations”. The question is who will follow orders and who will stand down against this tyranny?
