Obama-era officials involved in the unmasking of former national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn went after him "with a vengeance" because they knew he would expose the "Russia hoax," Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett asserted Thursday.
In an interview on "Fox & Friends" with host Steve Doocy, Jarrett said that he had asked a top intelligence official why Flynn had been targeted during the 2016 transition period and the official told him it was a punitive concerted effort and a "conspiracy."
"And I think it's because, you know, Flynn had a bullseye on his back. People like Comey, McCabe, Brennan and Clapper all knew that once Flynn took the helm...as national security adviser, he would expose the Russia hoax," Jarrett stated. "And so they went after him with a vengeance. They targeted him, and they got rid of him."

I, persoanlly, think it goes a little further: Flynn was going to clean house by streamlining all 16 Intel Agencies (i.e.: The Intelligence Community) which would have removed a lot of deep state holdovers from previous administrations, namely ObamaIdiot’s.
Finally....something that makes sense.

I believe what Flynn knows goes much, much deeper. He has intimate knowledge of the nefarious dealings of the Ovomit regime, which explains the panic in his voice on that call. And why Judge Sullivan (prob at the request of Ovomit) won’t drop the case.
Flynn was a lifelong Democrat though.
Based on what I am seeing, there is much more here than spying on Trump.

Holder is the keystone of all of it.
Targeting Flynn was part of the Russia Hoax. Neutralizing him certainly helped perpetuate it, and it also helped set the stage for the subsequent coup attempt involving Ukraine which was also a hoax.
The entire thing was a hoax from the very beginning. The “meddling” the “17 intelligence agencies” the “hackers” all of it was fake. It was designed to hit Trump’s base of older conservatives who would jump at anything involving “the Ruskies” and who have a limited understanding of “hacking” drawn mostly from a mid-90’s movie. They didn’t count on that base being exceptionally loyal to President Trump and demanding evidence of collusion. Of course there was none because the entire thing was a hoax from the beginning.
At the same time the Deep State was cooking up this hoax, the not quite as Deep State was coming up with ways to thwart the President’s agenda. Paul Ryan managed that. It was just a matter of delivering on the things that any GOPe candidate would have run on (tax cuts), and pushing off the things that distinguished Trump from the pack (immigration and trade). Trump’s first term has been bogged down with a couple of complete hoaxes and the enemy from within his own party.
Prosecuting Flynn didn’t turn him into a deaf mute. Nothing prevented him from exposing the whole charade at all. If anything, by signing a plea deal and then spending more than two years fighting his sentencing, it turns out that MICHAEL FLYNN was more responsible than anyone else for the delay in having the whole thing exposed.
Find the real reason Obama fired Flynn and you find the reason.
Hopefully this is the tip of the iceberg and the additional crimes will come out and be prosecuted.
