I am, in fact, guilty of the crime charged.

Amazing at how upset you are over that. To everyone else the question is why aren't the prosecutors being charges with all sorts of crimes committed when Flynn didn't commit any crimes to begin with. Didn't your side lie to the court, too?

Thank you for the additional info. The judge should recuse himself, remember this? “I’m not hiding my disgust, my disdain for this criminal offense,” U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan in Washington told Flynn. HuffPost Judge Rips Flynn, Asks About Treason Before Delaying Sentencing For Lying To FBI AdChoices POLITICS 12/18/2018 12:22 pm ET Updated Dec 18, 2018 Judge Rips Flynn, Asks About Treason Before Delaying Sentencing For Lying To FBI The former national security adviser to President Donald Trump admitted to lying about his contacts with the Russians. headshot By Ryan J. Reilly WASHINGTON ― A judge tore into Michael Flynn Tuesday before delaying the sentencing of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser and prominent campaign supporter for lying to the FBI. Flynn, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, was an early supporter of the Trump campaign, and infamously called for the incarceration of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during his speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention. He came under scrutiny for a variety of potential criminal activities, and reached a plea deal in December 2017 with the special counsel team led by Robert Mueller. As part of the deal, he agreed to cooperate and admitted making fraudulent statements in an interview with FBI agents at the White House on Jan. 24, 2017. Flynn stepped down as national security adviser in mid-February 2017, less than a month into the Trump presidency, because the White House says he misled officials there about his contacts with the Russians. “I’m not hiding my disgust, my disdain for this criminal offense,” U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan in Washington told Flynn. Former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn has admitted to lying to the FBI. BLOOMBERG VIA GETTY IMAGES Former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn has admitted to lying to the FBI. Sullivan also walked through a number of procedural steps to make sure that Flynn was pleading guilty because he was guilty and not for any other reason. He seemed frustrated with many of the arguments from Flynn’s team that he suggested took away from Flynn’s supposed acceptance of responsibility for his crime. Sullivan had Flynn admit, once again, that he had lied to the FBI and was pleading guilty because he was guilty. He gave Flynn ample opportunity to back out of his guilty plea, discussed with the prosecution the variety of other crimes Flynn could have faced, and said Flynn’s criminal exposure would have been “significant” had be been charged with the other offenses. “This crime is very serious,” Sullivan said, noting that Flynn lied “In the White House! In the West Wing!” Flynn shouldn’t “minimize” his “very serious” offense, Sullivan said. “Arguably, you sold your country out,” Sullivan told Flynn. He then asked the government whether undermining U.S. sanctions against Russia for their interference in the 2016 election could be considered treason, a suggestion the government didn’t want to weigh in on. (Soon after, the judge said he did not mean to suggest Flynn committed treason.) https://www.huffpost.com/entry/michael-flynn-sentenced-mueller-russia_n_5c17ede2e4b02d2cae8bf112 ....I don't know how this judge thinks he can get away with this stunt.

I don’t believe that he needs to be impeached if it can be proved that he committed gross judicial misconduct. He can simply be disbarred. The USSC needs to slap him down in anyway they can.

Anything to stall just a bit more as they wind down the running-out clock.

A perjury charge would never hold up under the law unless it met two standards:

1. The statement was known to be false.

2. The statement was consequential to a legal proceeding.

I'd say your statement about killing Brad Pitt fails the second test.

“Judge” Sullivan would only do this if HE KNOWINGLY
ignored murders, so the question is how many?

I can’t really say what I want to say.
It would be quite profane.

Innocent people are coerced into pleading guilty all the time, and they can withdraw it.

I don't know what "your side" is.

I have a dumb question for you, though: Has Michael Flynn or his legal team ever come out and contradicted the facts laid out in his plea deal?

Withdrawing a guilty plea is generally accepted under certain conditions.

1. It's generally easiest to do BEFORE the judge signs off on it. That wouldn't apply here.

2. It must be done for a good reason, and should be done soon after it was signed. It's almost unheard-of for a judge to allow a guilty plea to be withdrawn more than a year and a half after it was entered.

Flynn must know something really, really big

I'll take a guess - Flynn has solid proof that Obama was born in Kenya.

Sullivan is a good example of Deep State slime. He presided over the Senator Ted Stevens conviction. The prosecution team committed all kinds of felonies (falsified 302, perjury, obstruction of justice). He held them in contempt of court. Penalties? None.

Because it was induced through both fraud and force. That is sufficient to invalidate any agreement.

Compromise is not necessarily a bad thing. So I understand where you are you coming from. What if I told you that I believe I have compromised a little too much. What if insisted that for once, the communists I live with compromise. Just do it.

There was no facts. It’s a fantasy. Flynn has the right to change his plea and whatever he signed goes out the window. Show us a case where someone was charged with perjury for changing their plea from guilty to not guilty. Pretty simple if you can do that.
