Americans, by a large 30-point margin, are resistant to re-opening the country now, believing the risk to human life of opening the country outweighs the economic toll of remaining under restrictive lockdowns -- a concern that starkly divides along partisan lines, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos released Friday.
In the new poll, conducted by Ipsos in partnership with ABC News using Ipsos’ Knowledge Panel, nearly two-thirds of Americans said they more closely align with the view that opening the county now is not advantageous since it will result in a higher death toll, while slightly more than one-third agree with the belief that an immediate reopening is beneficial to minimize the negative impact on the economy.
But those attitudes show deep partisan divisions, with only 6% of Democrats, compared to 65% of Republicans, siding with the viewpoint of opening the country now to salvage the economy.
An overwhelming 92% of Democrats and only 35% of Republicans oppose an immediate re-opening, citing the effect of the deadly virus. Independents trace the outlook of the country, with 36% supporting opening up the country now, and 63% opposing such a move.
Sill, when asked about the likelihood of agreeing to get a safe and effective vaccine, the new survey shows some skepticism about being inoculated. One-quarter of Americans said they were not likely to get vaccinated, even if a safe and effective vaccine was developed. About three-quarters said they would likely get the immunization.

I used to be the same way but now I get the flu shot every year. Could be I’m older and see the value more. Plus, these new shots do not have the same side effects of twenty years ago.
As someone said, when Bill Gates can stop a virus from infecting Windows, then maybe we can listen to what he has to say about human viruses.
In all seriousness, it takes years and years to develop a vaccine, and many more years to prove that it is effective and safe. Anyone who would line up to inject something developed in 8 months is a fool.

It is hilarious that democrats, who probably don’t have jobs and thinks the government prints money, are all for never working again.

No flu shots for me, either-tried that a couple of times in the past-last time was over 15 years ago-I was ill for 2 weeks each time-I have gotten a really mild case of the flu a couple of times since then, but nothing that lasted for more than a few days,using natural flu remedies-I don’t get vaccinations of any kind-I keep my immune system strong with sunshine, work and supplements-I do not want a vaccine kicking that immune system into overdrive-there are better ways to die...
Coronaviruses mutate-that is why the flu shots only are effective for only a few strains of flu in any given year-so no Wuhan vaccine for me, either-in any case, I’m pretty sure I had a mild case of it in March-I’d put gas in my truck and gone to Home Depot for paint supplies in a county I almost never go to-a county that had quite a few cases since they are right next to the city...
My sister got the two shot package this year. I’ll ask my VA Doctor about that when I see her later this summer for my annual checkup.

When this first started,the advice from the VA and other agencies was to GET the Flu shot . How many died by this alone receiving the shot and getting the Corona?
Your body is already infected with over 300 trillion individual viruses and 30 trillion individual bacteria. (You only have 30 trillion cells, so your cells are outnumbered 10 to one).
If you’ve had a flu shot, then most likely you will test positive for CV 19. The virus is continually mutating and has probably mutated to a less virulent virus at this point anyway.
Wearing a mask only increases the odds that your body will not be able to deal with this virus as the mask reduces your oxygen intake and increases production of cortisol which suppresses your immune system, increases blood sugar and blood pressure.
It’s time to declare victory and get back to living a normal life. The stress from fear about this virus is killing more people than the virus itself.
End the lockdown.

My doc would write down that I refused. I explained to him in the beginning that I would not take statins...and the medical profl I consulted with. He put in notes that I refuse to take statins.
There has been a vaccine for it since 2009. 11 years now and counting.
They are made with chicken eggs, which is why people with an egg allergy cannot take them.
Im in forced vax due to the obamacare money for vax scheme.
2nd flu shot in my life.
I have the same anount of employees call out and test pos for the flu since forced vax started.
Think of it.. most healthcare organizations you trust force medical teatment on their employees.. in exchange for higher reimbursement.
