Tucker Carlson explains the reasons for doubting Tara Reade’s story

While my inner troll is delighting in Tara Reade exposing the moral bankruptcy of Democrats’ phony “Believe all women” stance only when political enemies are accused, I am a skeptic.  And I fear that her efforts will help the Dem establishment in pulling the plug on Biden, whose declining mental capacity cannot be hidden for the nearly 6 months of presidential campaigning ahead.

Make no mistake: rushing to deny the nomination to Bernie Sanders by backing Biden was a colossal blunder.  Shooing his rivals out of the race enabled a big Super Tuesday delegate harvest for Biden, but because the media failed to alert them to Biden’s true mental decline, the powers-that-be accidentally backed a loser, not a “safe” known commodity.  

Last night, Tucker Carlson focused on the problems with Reade’s changing story, noting her enthusiastic backing for Bernie Sanders, and the troubling timing of her charges. The entire 6 minute segment and a rush transcript are embedded below, but the most serious issue is:

…before Joe Biden started beating Bernie Sanders in the primary, Tara Reade wasn’t attacking Joe Biden, instead she had effusively positive things to say about him. In 2017, Tara Reade repeatedly praised Joe Biden for his work against sexual assault. At one point Reade wrote “My old boss speaks the truth.”

Show me something related to the Presidential election that is claimed to not be political and I’ll show you a logical fallacy. That’s not to say what she claims didn’t happen, only that there was a political reason for the timing.

I saw the segment last night, and it sure was curious.

I think it definitely happened, and I think it’s definitely a Democrat political hit too.

These are Democrats, everything they do is political, we may as well be Watching Game of Thrones.

Carlson laid-out both sides pretty well. He laid out FACTS, whereas the Dems just want to dismiss it - as they always do with uncomfortable news - as something that's "settled" or "discredited" or "old news."

My own view - largely based on the mother's long-ago phone call to Larry King - is that something did happen, but whether it involved some sort of "penetration" is less clear. It might have just been Joe's typical "handsiness."

The media should stand up and set some kind of standard by which allegations should be weighed.

Tara Reade might be mentally unstable. And she might be an opportunist. But someone’s mother called Larry King back in 1993 and talked about a senator’s bad behavior. And Reade’s neighbor remembers her talking about it.

I wouldn’t convict Biden based on that small amount of evidence. But given that evidence and his constant lewd, handsy behavior, I’d put $100 down that he did it.

While I disagree with Tucker Carlson on some issues, at least he is reporting this issue fairly, something the DNC Media will never do.

The only question I have is how his Staff found this information while the DNC Media didn’t. I never heard these things coming from the Left as a defense of Joementia Biden.

Now back to “believe all women”! Were they saying that in the Era of Tokyo Rose?

It's quite possible that a large percentage of Democrat voters haven't seen most of the Biden clips that people see who watch Fox News or visit conservative websites.
