A conservative law firm is calling a new order in Kansas City, Missouri, "Nazi-like" for requiring churches to "surveil, track, and spy" on anyone who attends an in-person service.
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas issued the 10/10/10 rule in effect May 5, ordering that nonessential businesses, like churches, can have 10 people inside and 50 people outside as long as they practice social distancing. They also must record the information of anyone who spends more than 10 minutes inside.
In addition, nonessential businesses can operate at 10 percent maximum capacity.
The order states that by recording names and contact information, the health department will be able to more quickly trace, test, and isolate individuals who may have been exposed to COVID-19. Anyone who doesn't provide their information won't be allowed in.
Our goal isnt to see what everyone is doing and be Big Brother, Lucas said, according to FOX 4, but that's not how many in the community see it.

Who the heck puts their name in a book or signs a register before attending church?
Perhaps we should be forced to wear white crosses on our clothing, instead of the yellow star....
If he is going to act like a nazi, treat him like one, stand in front of the State House when he is there and give the nazi salute!
All the state has to do is require the church take attendance but not turn over the info unless theres an actual outbreak. Thats a reasonable request for pandemic control.
This requirement that the attendance sheets be registered with the state up front is nothing more than totalitarian oppression.
The fact that anyone would register is the scary part.
Any pastor that would cough up the names of the congregation to the government isn’t much of a pastor and probably won’t be pastor for long. This is beyond pale.
Am I reading this right:
AG Barr’s Justice Department is going to look into this Kansas City Matter?
If true:
AG office should make it’s findings public to as a message to other cities that might try this.
This whole “tracking” idea concerns me more than the virus
Hiding behind "our".
You're the mayor, it's your policy....own it, you coward.
Felt good!!/s
Check the Mosque. I will bet it is operating normally. The abject fear the government has for the Moslem’s is frightening.
Bill Barr, pick-up the white courtesy phone...
His is an unlawful order, and has no enforcement mechanism.
The cops and churches need to tell him to pound sand.
Be forced to wear this on clothing.
I'd do it proudly!
Register/ID church goers...but not voters? hmmm...
“All the state has to do is require the church take attendance “
Most Pastors and Church leaders keep a contact list of members. If an infection arrived at a church. There should be no need for an attendance list. They would encourage everybody to be tested since testing is available now.

Id rather they stand him in front of a wall and give him the firing squad salute.
I would register ... using the same approach I employ whenever I get a call from one of those Social Security or Microsoft Windows scam operations in India: I give them the name, phone number, address and date of birth of my Democrat congressman. :-P
