Its a decision the governor said will endanger Illinoisans and open the door for others to file suit. Pritzker was made aware of the Clay County Circuit Court ruling Monday afternoon during his live COVID-19 briefing.
Rep. Darren Baileys decision to take to the courts to try and dismantle public health directives designed to keep people safe is an insult to all Illinoisans that have been lost during this COVID-19 crisis, and its a danger to millions of people who may get ill because of his recklessness, Pritzker said. At best, no one is better off because of this ruling, and at worst, peoples health and safety will suffer tremendously in Illinois.
Pritzker said his team will be fighting the decision and issuing new public health directives so that we can continue to respond to this public crisis.
(Representative) Bailey is a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump.
Trump won Clay County 79.8% to Hillary Clintons 24% in the 2016 presidential election, records show. Clay County has reported only two cases of COVID-19 through Monday.

The totalitarian communists are making their move.
And an asteroid may hit you in the azz.
Jelly Belly Prickster is an insult to Illinois
Jumbo Blagojevich will double down. I am glad Rep. Bailey represents me because my representative sure as hell doesn’t.
Stay-at-home orders to the healthy are not public health but rather economic tyranny.
Keep Representative Bailey in your prayers! We need more like him!!
Trump 79.8%, Hillary 24.0%. You can tell it’s Illinois by the way they count the ballots.
Same way they balance the budget.

Mr Streeck is a professor for virology and the director of the Institute of virology and HIV Research at the University Bonn. He explained the methodology of his new study in Heinsberg, the epicentre of Germanys COVID-19 outbreak, and talked about potential plans for a country to move forward gradually in getting back to a normal life.
These research findings have already provided some indication on how the virus works, as Streeck clarified:
There is no significant risk of catching the disease when you go shopping. Severe outbreaks of the infection were always a result of people being closer together over a longer period of time, for example the après- ski parties in Ischgl, Austria. He could also not find any evidence of living viruses on surfaces. When we took samples from door handles, phones or toilets it has not been possible to cultivate the virus in the laboratory on the basis of these swabs

Hey, gov, worry about Chicago
Downstate judge rules Pritzker out of line with stay-at-home but governor calls suit dangerous, insult to all Illinoisans filthy Sickogians.
My father’s side of my family comes from Illinois and I have relatives still there. Sorry to disappoint Chicago but it isn’t all of the state.
So much for respecting justice.......
Bet there should be areas in Illinois where that Streek study conducted by Bonn University would hold up.
Dangerous only to his power trip.
Hopefully this means the Military Cemeteries will be open on Memorial Day. Governor Fred Flintstone ordered all of the cemeteries closed for Memorial Day and banned all honor guards and wreath laying ceremonies.
Excellent news. Now maybe theyll open up our private 300 acre gun club thats in the middle of nowhere in DeKalb County.

His own health care person admitted last week that “Covid deaths” are anybody who dies that just happens to have the Chinese virus. Including people who were already dying when they caught it.
Two more Pritzker minion comments from the article...
Democratic House Speaker Mike Madigan was more blunt.
Like Governor Pritzker, I find Representative Baileys lawsuit to be extremely reckless, at a time we can least afford it, the Southwest Side Democrat said in written statement. It is my sincere hope that upon further review, this decision is reversed, and that our health care workers, first responders and loved ones are not unnecessarily subjected to added risk by such a short-sighted lawsuit.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot also weighed in, calling the ruling troubling and wrong.
One of the many problems with this ill-advised opinion is that it will destroy the collective progress we have made, giving Illinoisans the wrong impression that we have beaten the COVID-19 pandemic, she said.
