Is it possible that the constant drumbeat over the last three months to disinfect, disinfect, and disinfect again, might have led to some abuse or over-use of those products? I have little doubt.
Even so the Democrat Party-media should blame itself for insisting Trump said we should drink disinfectant when Trump never said such a thing.

Of course, President Trump suggested nothing of the sort. The media tactic is to try to make it where Trump cannot say anything. It is the same tactic as Political Correctness. They want you to be afraid to say anything at all for fear of causing offense: to lack the ability to say “2+2=4” to use a cliched example. Sadly, even some conservatives fall for it. Trump needs to keep talking, keep tweeting, and keep calling them out as Fake News.
What Trump should have followed up with:
“Anybody stupid enough to think I told them to ingest bleach was going to vote Democrat anyway”.

Here is the part of the briefing where President Trump speaks of "injection." It occurs 25 minutes into the briefing.
Four minutes later in the same briefing, President Trump corrects himself after a question from Jon Karl.
Karl: The President mentioned the idea of a cleaner, like bleach or isopropyl alcohol... there's no scenario where that can be injected into a person, is there?President Trump: It wouldn't be through injection. I was referring to a cleaning, sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't work, but it certainly has a big effect if it's on a stationary object.
In order for the "inject Lysol" meme to work, the MSM has to ignore the comments made just four minutes later. Bias by omission is one the major ways that the MSM corrupts the reporting of the news.

The loser Virginia State health commissioner, the one that said schools might not open for TWO years, did address this. He said they have had calls, but most of them had to do with mixing cleaners, such as bleach and ammonia, and with skin contact and breathing fumes due to poor handling.

The most likely way that someone would die from ingesting bleach, other than the above, would be if an Antifa mob found someone wearing a MAGA cap and held him down and poured bleach down his throat.
