Despite several protests over Californias stay-at-home order to slow the spread of coronavirus, a new poll shows the vast majority of residents support the restrictions.
Among those polled, 75% want the order to continue as long as its needed, according to a California Health Care Foundation/Ipsos survey. Only 11% wanted to stop the stay-at-home order, while 13% had no opinion. Among low-income residents, support was even stronger: 78% support the stay-at-home order and only 3% oppose it.
The majority polled also said they are following various guidance from health officials, such as wearing masks, avoiding trips and staying at least six feet apart.
The poll involved more than 1,000 interviews between April 17 and April 22 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

I guess my question is ...what do these poll respondents think they are staying home for? Curve flattening, more testing, a vaccine? Do they even wonder why they are at home?
only shows what happens when you double unemployment and get free checks for watching tv
mark my words there will be a demand for another $1200 check soon -or monthly

Very interesting point...
I wonder if some people are under the impression that their unemployment benefits will continue indefinitely...
Yes, everyone loves the stay-at-home order. That’s why the streets and parking lots of tourist town Sausalito were jam packed with folks out and about today.
Psycho-Social Manipulation via Pseudo-Demographics.
When the domestic enemy needs us to believe something without question, roll out a bogus poll and tell us all “if you don’t believe like all these people in this very very scientific poll, then you’re a weirdo!”
People cattle want to be an accepted part of the herd.

I have a feeling that many CA residents are confused about why they are staying home...
Well, there may still be more about this new virus then we have been told. But people can only decide things based on the information theyre given. And there appears to be no real justification for this lockdown of America. As pdjt realizes. I will leave aside the issue of whether it was ever justified. But it sure isnt now. Some focused assistance to frail elderly crowded in large cities or nursing homes yes that makes some sense. Note I said assistance but imprisonment. So there are some things government can do to help mitigate or alleviate illness. Destroying the country to save it is however not an answer.
The state has spawned the Stepford Wives mentality. The state has an incredible amount of sunshine that kills the virus and yet people are staying in dark spaces. Dumb,
They better cash them fast because in a year they not going to get anything
As long as needed? Really? Ask them if theyd be ok with being locked in their home for 2 or 3 years, or perhaps the rest of their life, because that is how long it may take to develop a vaccine. Vaccines are not found for all viruses.
What a bunch of crapweasel liars. This poll is complete BS. They want to keep us all shut down until after the election and force us to vote by mail. Now comes the fake polls saying most people will support that.
Since a third of all US welfare recipients live in CA, why is this a shocker? They don’t work anyway. No skin off their nose.
‘Do they even wonder why they are at home?’
in my home town, which is moderately affluent with pockets of poorer residents, they don’t have to wonder; they know...they are being noble by caring about people getting sick, and are very happy to signal the virtue associated with that...
Yes, of course, and most of those polled were at the beach yesterday....../s
‘And there appears to be no real justification for this lockdown of America. As pdjt realizes.
pdjt realizes it so much that he trashes the first governor to show some balls and buck this stay at home crap; ‘I am not happy with Brian Kemp,’ he proclaims to the press corps that is intent on destroying Kemp for his effrontery, and signalling he thinks they were right all along...
crap move; distance yourself from the ballsy guy so if things go wrong you can say ‘I told him not to do it...’
And people laughed at Andrew Yang. He's the one laughing now.
Let’s disable the internet and TV for a week and see how many like the stay-at-home order
The girl in the bikini playing catch/ keep away is hot.
Ipsos? the mob that always says people want action against gloBULL warming! any poll that bears their name is Fake.
