Despite several protests over Californias stay-at-home order to slow the spread of coronavirus, a new poll shows the vast majority of residents support the restrictions.
Among those polled, 75% want the order to continue as long as its needed, according to a California Health Care Foundation/Ipsos survey. Only 11% wanted to stop the stay-at-home order, while 13% had no opinion. Among low-income residents, support was even stronger: 78% support the stay-at-home order and only 3% oppose it.
The majority polled also said they are following various guidance from health officials, such as wearing masks, avoiding trips and staying at least six feet apart.
The poll involved more than 1,000 interviews between April 17 and April 22 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

As long as it's needed...Like 6 more months? Like 12 more months?
Should this poll be taken seriously?
I don't think so...
“Sit on the couch and cash your checks!”
People like that?
I’m shocked! Shocked I say!

Of course, conservative Californians are excepted and welcome anytime.
Bullsheit lies. There were ten times the cars today then just a few days ago. Left turn holding lane was filled and backed up blocking the through traffic lane. The majority of people are still wearing masks but are definitely not staying cooped up at home anymore. And there were tens of thousands of people filling up the beaches this weekend. Thats not my figure thats per major media reports based on helicopter flyover counts. Most people are sick and tired of being imprisoned and are not taking it anymore.
The farmer brings the food right to 'em. Why look for grass when you don't have to.
And don’t the media love then?
So they say.
Yep, Id bet a bunch of people are lying or, at best, want other people to stay home. I can easily a bunch of Chris Cuomo-types that say all the right things and do the complete opposite.
Some do yes. The majority did the first few weeks. Now the majority is out and about again. Mostly masked but definitely driving around almost like normal. A couple weeks ago the roads were nearly empty. Now theres 80 or 90 percent Full traffic congestion again. And many of thtm are in a foul mood and ready to fight if anyone gives them any krap about why they arent hiring in their closet at home. So we are extra courteous and avoiding any long lines or crowds. Bad scenes at some checkout registers in one major store as they are trying g to hassle customers who dare to buy two melons or two tubs of beans instead of just one. Fortunately the other stores are not abiding their customers so switching from one shopping center to another has worked so far to avoid fight scenes. Smile smile
Yes, everybody wants other people off the roads. I know I do
“Them” not “then”: LOL!
Media loves those who are maniputable, beccsause their sadvertisers do.
Ha! Yes. And fake news media too. We liked it when folks were staying home. No traffic! Best driving since 1960s. Now the boulevard is filled right back up with cars again. Grumble grumble
agree and the fact that “Among low-income residents, support was even stronger: 78% support the stay-at-home order and only 3% oppose it.”
only shows what happens when you double unemployment and get free checks for watching tv
mark my words there will be a demand for another $1200 check soon -or monthly
My favorite part of the article....as long as what is needed?
They really need to stop polling the Sidewalk Campers.
and Trump could preempt this by supporting another “bonus” check for those returning to work
Oh really?

Tens of thousands flocked to Orange County beaches today as this heat wave settles over SoCal. Officials say they’re expecting even larger crowds over the weekend https://abc7.la/3bFb8My

Stay-at-home order...75% of people, who responded to the poll, had no problem with the officials telling them to stay home “longer than promised”...
“Should this poll be taken seriously?”
Yes, absolutely. Consider that this poll is probably very selective with respect as to whom they polled and their legal status.
To wit, if you are a non-citizen, un-educated citizen doing manual laborer and now receive $600 per week sitting at home watching TV, what would you prefer? Going to work and busting your hump for $500 per week or sitting on your ass making $600 per week.
Meanwhile small businesses and honest hardworking citizens are going bust.
The world is upside down and honest citizens are losing everything.
May the Lord have mercy upon us all.
