We use the computer to order and then pick up our groceries at the stores.
One store gives us paper bags to kill trees.
The other store provides plastic bags.
Costco sends their 2 hour orders in sturdy cardboard boxes and hands them to me at our backdoor ramp.
Most stores have also banned bringing in your own reusable bags.
Here in California we get mugged at every level of government: city, county, state and federal.
California. I was at the grocery store yesterday and asked the checker....are you still charging for bags because a lot of stores have suspended that since you don’t want us to use our own bags. She said they are giving away the paper bags. I came home and told hubby...they are giving away the paper bags because those are free to them since they’ve always been free to the welfare clients. lol
NY backtracked to...I think we’re at May 15th now...but it’s a pretty well kept secret. Wegmans just has to have that nickel.
