Trump’s idea for “disinfecting” people to fight disease is already being done
American Thinker ^ | 04/25/2020 | Andrea Widburg

If you spent any time on the internet on Thursday and Friday, or read a hard copy of a newspaper, you would undoubtedly have read stories or social media posts saying that President Trump told Americans to inject themselves with bleach or Lysol to cure coronavirus. Of course, that's not true. The media were either stupid or malicious when they misreported Trump's words. What Trump said was straightforward and thoughtful:

“And then I saw the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute, and is there a way we could do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning,” the president said during his White House press briefing. “As you see it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

The American media, however, collapsed in paroxysms of laughter. Stupid Donald Trump. He’s telling people to drink Lysol. Speaking of those same media folks, Ben Rhodes, who was “Obama’s foreign-policy guru,” had this to say:

“The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.”

Monica Showalter, who knows a great deal, explained in her post that ignoramuses have always laughed at visionaries. In this case, though, Trump wasn’t just a visionary. What he theorized has already been happening.

One of the available treatments for cancer is Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation Therapy. Ultraviolet light has long been understood to be a disinfectant that destroys nucleic acids and disrupts DNA. The sun’s ultraviolet light is why it’s one of the most effective ways to destroy the COVID-19 virus when it’s on objects or aerosolized.

(EXCERPT)

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation, also called Photoluminescence Therapy, is intravenously applied ultraviolet energy. Due to its profound photochemical, biochemical and physiological effects it has been of great value in a wide variety of diseases according to over 100 years of research findings.

Niels Ryberg Finsen is considered the father of Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation. In the late 1890s, he treated various skin conditions with Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation and he and his successors reported a success rate of about 98% in curing lupus vulgaris, a tuberculosis-like disease of the skin and mucous membranes. In 1903, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for his research in photochemotherapy.

In the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, E. K. Knott, M.D. in Seattle, Washington, and other physicians applied this treatment successfully to a variety of other conditions, such as bacterial diseases, viral infections including acute and chronic hepatitis, poliomyelitis, encephalitis, overwhelming toxemias, rheumatoid arthritis and many other diseases and conditions.

In Europe, since the early 1950s, Josef M. Issels, M.D. administered Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation, or Photoluminescence Therapy, as an important component of his treatment program to thousands of his patients suffering from cancer and various immune disorders.

Nah, there's plenty of evidence that the media is both stupid and malicious.

Also, since 1989, people have been using hydrogen peroxide intravenously to kill bacteria and viruses:

In IV H2O2 therapy, Hydrogen peroxide is infused into the circulatory system through a vein in the arm. It drips in over a ninety-minute period. Five cc of pharmaceutical-grade, three-percent hydrogen peroxide are put in 500 cc five percent glucose in water as a carrier solution. Two grams of magnesium chloride are added along with a small amount of manganese to prevent vein sclerosis.

In the blood, it encounters two enzymes: catalase and cytochrome-C. Catalase drives the above reaction to completion immediately. That part of the hydrogen peroxide that binds with cytochrome-C, however, is not allowed to become water and singlet oxygen for a period of forty minutes. After forty minutes of being bound to cytochrome-C this enzyme begins to act like catalase and breaks down the hydrogen peroxide to water and singlet oxygen. By this time, the hydrogen peroxide/cytochrome-C complex has been spread throughout the body. In this way the benefits of hydrogen peroxide are made available to all cells.

The effect of singlet oxygen in the human body is twofold. It kills, or severely inhibits the growth of, anaerobic organisms (bacteria and viruses that use carbon dioxide for fuel and leave oxygen as a by-product). This action is immediate, on contact with the anaerobic organism. Anaerobic bacteria are pathogens, the organisms which cause disease. All viruses are anaerobic.

Right, At no time did I get the message from the president that he advocated drinking lye or bleach. Not even Mr. Clean!

I bet most of the White House Press Corps could not change a flat tire on a car.

How/why this group of inexperienced lemmings has such control over our public discourse is one of the mysteries of the universe for me.

With that said, I agree with others that Trump needs to shorten the pressers and stick more to a script. The media hates him, but giving them any material to go down a rabbit hole with is counter-productive.

Spare me all the hate for saying it. I could not support Trump any more than I do. While I appreciate that he fights back, his stream of consciousness talks with them are often the following day’s news cycle and it detracts from his mastery of the situation and optimism that we badly need.

We are in economic free-fall right now and most of the news is about bleach......

This disinfectant issue is a great way to see how the media constructs fake news.

A. Absolutely ignore their own reporting inside the press conference, where a reporter asked if he meant injecting people with disinfectant. Trump said no, he was talking about areas and surfaces, like a normal person.

B. Post on social media, get people riled up, make it a story. “Stupid Trump says inject Lysol in your body!” Blue checks go crazy with it.

C. AP creates a story about how this “disinfectant issue” is part of Trump’s anti-science agenda. (this article is linked elsewhere on FR)

D. Snopes.com posts an article “Did trump really say to inject yourself with bleach?” Rates it as true. Mentions Trump’s clarification, but says it wasn’t clear. Huh?

E. Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats repeat the talking point, giving it legitimacy.

F. The whole fake issue is now part of the national dialogue.

Even Trump himself got tangled in this when he said he later said he was being sarcastic about suggesting injecting it into people. This was an unforced error on his part, because now those of us who were defending him, using his own words in the press conference, have been sidelined. The Leftists are already lining up saying “If he didn’t say it in the presser, why is he saying he said it, even as a joke?”

The media have proven, for the millionth time, they are true enemies of the people.

These false themes are going to keep coming on a regular basis since the President has the somewhat refreshing tendency to speak his mind more than the establishment politician who learned long ago to speak like a robot in the presence of the media.

Very few people outside of newsrooms and faculty lounges care about these “gotcha” themes, they come and go on a regular basis and fail to move the political needle, but in general terms, it would be good to go more on the offensive against the globalists rather than sitting back waiting for them to chatter.

“Let’s give them something to talk about” would be my preference, such as indictments (Arkancide must be some sort of crime, right?) and more of a spotlight on China (not our friends by any stretch of the imagination).

We are all getting tired of the orange man bad b.s., the orange should be on some other people, criminals who are allowed to roam free without consequences for their bad acts.

<p>Lot's of politicians say some pretty silly thing but, I don't think they mean everything they or meant to say something in the peculiar way.

Some really are excitedly anxious about doing their best to help.

Here is Gavin Newsome saying something that made me laugh, because we already know "Sunlight is the Best Disinfectant" and what he says below is outrageously preposterous or he is trying to give people hope and be a calming voice

When will California schools reopen? Gov. Newsom has some ideas

Governor Newsom spoke about the need for deep cleaning prior to reopening schools.

"Not just in our schools but disinfecting our parks, benches, our swings, our sidewalks, and streets," said Gov. Newsom.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/when-will-california-schools-reopen-gov-newsom-has-some-ideas/ar-BB12DL38

What could be equally disturbing is Newsom saying we might not open until "August".

Really?

He said that he expected to have a better idea of timing in about two weeks but that "the prospects of mass gatherings is negligible, at best, until we get to herd immunity and a vaccine." Large-scale events aren't "currently in the cards" for June, July or August unless something changes, he added.

Because if I allow that, Trump might have some rallies here in California.

In the 50s they experimented with inhaling alcohol for a certain lung disorder. They later came up with better solutions.

I have seen people swear nebulizing it worked with covid. I wouldnt try it except at deaths door

There are bars that actually have you vape it.

I was always under the impression that often in hospitals those with lung issues got nebulizer treatment that consisted of some sort of disinfectant-type agent, that is medical grade and medically safe.
