Cuomo Praises Trump's Response to the Wuhan Coronavirus: 'Phenomenal Accomplishment'

New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo was asked on Sunday whether or not he has faith in President Trump when it comes to handling the Wuhan coronavirus. Gov. Cuomo made it clear that he not only trusts the president but that what Trump and his administration have done was nothing short of a "phenomenal accomplishment."
"What the federal government did working with states was a phenomenal accomplishment," the governor marveled. "We bent the curve. We flattened the curve. Government did it. People did it, but government facilitates people's actions, right?"

Mr. Cuomo is fighting with Kaiser Wilhelm (aka Bill de Blasio) over who gets the bailout money. He needs President Trump to let the governors control the purse within their states and not give it directly to places like New York City. Cuomo doesn't want to have to beg Wilhelm for money.
Mr. Cuomo needs to reopen the state in order to get re-elected but Kaiser Wilhelm will term-limit out and doesn't care who gets burned as he locks down New York City.
Is Mr. Cuomo also worried about an investigation?
Just what is the story with the ventilators?

He has Presidential aspirations, that's true. And he recognizes Trump will be difficult to beat in November.
However, NY State is broke. Their budget is in the red by billions. Cuomo wants the federal government to bail NY State out of it's budget crisis. He will use Corona as an excuse but the fact is, he bankrupted the state long before the pandemic.
It is really quite simple.

By saying that he just guaranteed that he’ll never get any sort of democratic nomination.
It is odd that he says this since the current democrat talking points are that the President’s response was a failure

Posturing only. Cuomo wants the Democrat Party presidential nomination very soon so he’ll swing both ways than a busy bar’s door re praising/criticizing Pres. Trump and his administration.
Better get lots of Dramamine, aspirin, and a barf bucket for the next few months of the “Cuomo Presidential Campaign Gone Wild” show.
