With NY dumping 3700 cases into the mix on one day because they wanted to skews any analysis of how the us is doing
When I sit down to really review it, it takes me more than an hour just to plow through it, and I know I still can't understand all of the nuances of this effort.
Thanks for your work.
When there is a major incident, how accurate are initial reports? How many shooters? When we get initial reports of voting on election night and the major counties have not weighed in. Look at China and ny revising numbers. The stats are interesting to track but I wont hold too much interpretation on them
thanks
"I'll keep tracking this for at least a few more weeks----"
That unfortunately is the money phrase.
Great work D1 !
I am confident good things are just around the riverbend. Thank you.
Thank you again for these reports. The growth in number of cases in our area jumped yesterday and was attributed to more rapid testing. (Texas Panhandle)
i told you, watch NY and particularly NYC.
On Wednesday April 1 I began tracking the number of serious, critical cases being reported in the USA.
These are the people who may likely die in the next few days.
If the serious, critical number goes up, we will likely see more deaths. On the other hand if the various drugs being tested are effective in treating the virus, the serious, critical number should go down.
Here are the numbers:
Apr 1 Wed 5005
Apr 2 Thu 5421
Apr 3 Fri 5787
Apr 4 Sat 8206
Apr 5 Sun 8702
Apr 6 Mon 8879
Apr 7 Tue 9169
Apr 8 Wed 9279
Apr 9 Thu 10,011
Apr 10 Fri 10916
Apr 11 Sat 11471
Apr 12 Sun 11766
Apr 13 Mon 12722
Apr 14 Tue 13473
Apr 15 Wed 13487
Apr 16 Thu 13369
On Wednesday the number of serious and critical cases only increased by 14 patients.
Yesterday, the number of serious and critical cases DECLINED by 118 patients.
While that is great news two days in a row, we need to keep in mind that about 4500 people died Weds and Thur.
What we need to see is a slowdown in the number of people who are serious/critical and a slowdown in the number of people dying.
The slowdown in critical/serious cases is confirmed by Trump’s task force who are saying there are plenty of empty ICU and Regular hospital beds.
Our local newspaper reported this morning that 126 people in LONG TERM CARE FACILITIES (LTCF) had died of corona virus.
Florida currently has 668 total corona deaths.
Thus, LTCF patients account for 19% of the deaths in Florida.
So I did some research and found that in Florida-—
There are 691 licensed nursing homes in Florida, representing approximately 84,448 beds (Source: Agency for Health Care Administration)
The estimated number of residents is 71,000 (roughly 85% occupancy at any given time)
https://www.fhca.org/media_center/long_term_health_care_facts/
Florida’s population is 22 million. So the 71,000 people in LTCF represent .032% of the total population.
Thus, we have .032% of the population accounting for 19% of the deaths.
The American Public needs to know the demographics of the people who have died from corona virus.
Conversely, how many currently employed people in the USA have died from corona virus? I suspect it is an extremely small percent of the total population.
We need to get America back to work. One way to do that is to give the American people very clear data on the demographics of the people who have died.
If the numbers show that 99.9% of the American workers have not died from corona virus, then they need to get back to work.
On the other hand the non-workers, especially the seniors and those with underlying health conditions, need to self-isolate and practice a very rigid hygiene protocol.
Together, the workers and non-workers can open up America again.
We have ZERO cases of CV in our town. ZERO
...we are living in a police state
...seems to me this was created to destroy the individual ...wealth in the world
...to make us all dependent on the government
All by grand design...
The good people of the world are being PUNISHED.
In California there are 5 Counties without any CV.
Yet they are being treated like NYC cesspool.
Someone asked a county health official in Los Angeles about paychecks. She was asked if people working for the county making $100k to $400k a year would stop taking a paycheck. HE was literally cut off...
Maybe add a new “entity”....the US WITHOUT New York.
Germany remains the country we need to know more about.
What are they doing to keep their death rate down?
As of today Germany has 1650 cases per million and 49 deaths per million.
While the USA has 2049 cases per million and 105 deaths per million.
And among the major European countries, Germany’s death rate is much lower.
