Harvard University is not ruling out the possibility that it might not open its campus again to students until 2021.
The announcement comes as Harvard researchers have said that social distancing measures may be necessary until 2022.

In a message to students on Monday, Harvard University President Lawrence Bacow wrote, "Many of you are concerned about plans for the fall. We are analyzing multiple scenarios, but, in the end, we will be guided by public health considerations—just as we were in deciding on March 10 to send students home and then to implement plans for remote work."
With Harvard's summer courses now entirely online, Bacow says the university is now "focused on the fall" and determining the latest possible date by which a decision on fall courses will need to be made even amid a "tremendous amount of uncertainty," the Harvard Crimson reported

They’ll have to offer the entire class free tuition if they want a full class. All Chinese probably.
“Harvard researchers” live on taxpayer funded grants, not tuition money. Some of them turn around and sell their research paid for by the American people to foreign governments.
100% of the public high schools could do it. We’ll still be paying the teachers to sip mai tais and stream their federally mandated curriculum.
Harvard has the biggest endowment of any college in the USA. They could afford to wait until January 2021 to start the next term.

I don’t see how any college can open until a vaccination is developed. The same goes for any business or sports event will be allowed without social distancing. The key here is vaccination. Without one, the country will stay in lockdown.
Foreign travel will be the last thing to come back.
Shutter it permanently, the world would be a better place.
