Doctors, pols urge earlier use of ‘miracle’ coronavirus drug cocktail (Hydroxychloroquine)

For Charles Vavruska, it was nothing short of a miracle cure.

Days after the 53-year-old City Council staffer arrived at New York Presbyterian-Queens hospital barely able to breathe and tested positive for COVID-19, doctors started him on the controversial drug cocktail of hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial, and azithromycin, an antibiotic.

Although Vavruska said he felt almost immediately better, he wishes the urgent-care doctor he went to see in the early days of his flu-like symptoms in mid-March could have prescribed a similar treatment before he grew progressively worse and ended up in a hospital room, hooked up to an oxygen tank and fighting for his life.

We can expect India to have a reasonably low death rate from this virus. The reason why is the age concentration of deaths. India has a life expectancy of less than 70 years old. Frankly put, they die before the virus can get them.

You are not making any sense here. Life expectancy in India is about 70 years old. Most coronavirus deaths are over 60. How on earth do you claim Indians die before they get to an age that they can get coronavirus then?
If all people under 70 before they can be infected by the virus as you claim, then why is the US and Europe in economy ruining lock downs for everybody and not just the over over 70?

> I have no idea why the first doc in China to ever try it chose to try it because it’s not an antiviral.

There was an in vitro study several years ago that showed HCQ effective against SARS, also a coronavirus. So that’s a possibility.

They’ve been politicizing treatments for years. Mostly due to being in the pockets of Big Pharma. This episode is just bringing that to the surface.

There are reports that the virus attacks hemoglobin, just like the malaria bacteria. If accurate the reason for success may be there.

The virus attacks the part of our cells that carry oxygen to/through our bodies. The malaria drug protects that particular cell component from attack. Hence its effectiveness in spite of not being an anti-viral.

Also why early/prophylactic treatmet is effective.

Yes, the earlier after infection the better. The patient need not even have a condition needing the hospital, yet. The importance of early administration is due to the main problem Covid-19 creates. It is not an ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) situation. What Covid-19 is doing is it is directly robbing the hemoglobin of it’s oxygen, literally freeing the oxygen. THAT is not a “respiratory” problem and the lungs are initially fine. The robbing of the oxygen from the hemoglobin is what Covid-19 continues to do. Meanwhile, the longer it persists, the respiratory environment, and eventually other tissues, are being inflamed by the free roaming oxygen, leading to injury of those tissues and finally to respiratory function problems. When Hydroxychlorquine blocks Covid-19 from robbing the hemoglobin of it’s oxygen, as early as possible, many other ancillary problems with Covid-19 are prevented and the body’s immune system can fight it.

It is the iron that binds the oxygen in the hemoglobin - free the iron and you free the oxygen and then lungs working good or not oxygen does not get carried to all the cells in the body.

Earlier is good. Prophylaxis might be better.
Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.

‘They’ should frighten all of us. I’m entertaining the notion that ‘they’ don’t want the sheeple to realize HCQ and zinc are the counter punch to the plandemics ‘they’ have ready to roll out for crushing the world into their one world flumoxment. The globalist oligarchy, exposed in Gatesian cunning, plan for you future to be vaccines and data tracking via Gates’s implants.

Not really ... HCQ plus ZINC is the clue your poster appears to want to dodge. HCQ is a mechanism by which zinc ions get inside infected cells and stop the virus replication. That reduces the viral load giving the immune system time and opportunity to ‘kill’ this virus on a less crowded battlefield. Early loading of the combo is the key to immunity development ... to both strains of this deadly pathogen.

The HCQ also has an anti=inflammatory effect, as does the AZ. The HCQ may also change the pH environment of the virus, stressing it at ACE2 sites where it wants to enter the cells of the alveoli in deep lung. <ore than one possible way HCQ and zinc and AZ lead to recovery and immunity.

The MSM again poisoning the waters.

It’s NOT controversial. They’re making it that by calling it that. And the reason is because the dems are opposed to ANYTHING that might make Trump look good.

The breakdown of deaths over 60 skew upwards. 60-70 is 6%. 70-80 is 12% and 80+ is over 15%. Mostly men.

India life expectancy for men is 68. They die before the virus kills them.

This effect should hold their numbers down, except a death to other causes but Covid positive will be notched in the CoVid column.

Yes, HCQ & Zn combo -- I agree with everything you said about that. I also completely agree that these drugs should be prescribed to everyone that's infected, and also wants them.

However, there's more. I think I've said it as well as I ever could on another thread -- please look at my # 34 here:
