Jimmy Dorsey did this version of “So Rare” in 1957. A song that had been around for awhile, but he did a fabulous job with it, and it went ballistic on the old “Hit Parade”. As a kid ten years old at the time I loved the song, and always remembered it throughout my life. Great to find it at youtube.

My wife, and I made it our song, and so it’s been for 42 years.

Fire Lake https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcdxcuLPpaEIncredible harmonies. After listening to that a few times on youtube last fall, I knew I'd better order the Eagles Complete Greatest Hits CD along with the Bob Seger Ultimate Hits CD. Been listening to them both most every week since then.
