Linda Tripp, whose secret conversations with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in 1998, died on Wednesday, according to a report. She was 70.

Tripp has been seriously ill and on her deathbed Tuesday night, according to a Facebook posting by her daughter. The Daily Mail reported on Wednesday afternoon that she had passed........."

That happened to one of my brothers. 30 years in the USAF and lots of retirement plans and pancreatic cancer got him in 2 1/2 months after he retired.

I actually met Linda Tripp at a Freeper rally in charleston, sc early 2000s. Very nice lady, rip.

If she spent a lot of time her and joined in our "conversations", then it's likely that many hereabouts have enjoyed her posts and perhaps corresponded in political threads. I'll wager that she added much to the discussions.

It's an aside, but I suspect that there is a large number of very well-known conservatives who anonymously join in here, and that's a good thing.
