A rare one indeed. Survival rates depend on the over all health of the person and treatment and survival rates to tend to increase thanks to new treatments but pancreatic cancer is about the most severe form of cancer. For men(if you're one like me) prostate cancer is very bad. The problem with prostate cancer is it's a very slow developing cancer it's sometimes is too late to do anything which is why it's so important if you're a man over 35 or 40 to get tested regularly for it, especially if your family has a history of it, like mine. Most people aren't aware that when a cancer is discovered it's in a late stage. However, depending on what type it is and again, with various testing methods it can be prevented.
