From the looks of some of the comments here, crowds are still showing up at some of the Walmart stores, maybe in some of the more populated areas? I’m guessing that we’ll see some relief after this brief cool weather spell. If the virus is like the other coronaviruses, warm weather with sunlight will slow it down. That is, as long as people avoid bunching up then...
Eff them
I see grocery shopping as the most dangerous place to catch the virus. All kinds of infected hands have touched the products you handle and contaminate your hands when you pick them up. Your grocery bags become a incubator of countless hands that touched your groceries. I am sure you have the result of someone who grabbed that snot rag from their pocket and wiped the snot from their nose after a healthy sneeze. You never know what all those hands in the store have touched and what ends up on your groceries.
Now the fights will be outside “don’t cut in front of me b!tch”
I wonder if Wal-Mart will expand the grocery sections to replace sections like electronics?
They also need to fix some of the wanky behavior that occurs on their website.
The only thing that has changed for me in this quarantine is the way I shop. Due to a chronic auto immune disease, I’ve been basically shut in for 25 years. Four in the morning is the best time for me to shop, and until this insanity and MSM-engendered panic, it was working just fine.
Now, because the store hours everywhere, as well as access, have become so restricted, my body is reacting in subtle ways to tell me a relapse is imminent.
I really want things to get back to normal.

A cadre of other Freepers decided to go into attack mode, accusing others of "spreading hysteria!"
I get it: they are angry, frustrated, and perhaps even fearful. They lost 401K values, stock value, a job, or just want this entire episode to "go away." Join the club: so does everyone.
But it is never, ever imprudent to advise people to stock up on food, needed medical supplies, and other essentials.
What's even more strange is that someone in Anytown USA thinks he or she can post their wonderful experience at their local market, and then portend to speak for the rest of the country on how good or bad things are out there vis a vis food and supplies.
I believe this decree will only cause our worst citizens to panic or to become unruly.
POnly had to wait 15 minutes at Wal Mart yesterday to get in, in Presque Isle , Maine.
There was a continuous muted flow of customers, and it was easy to move along expeditiously with so few in the store.
In store policy; stay six feet apart.
Eggs were in short supply, rationed to one package per check out sale.
Aroostook County had its first 2 conformed cases of Covid 19 yesterday, both out of state people seeking sanctuary from the city.
Eff WalMart then. I won’t be waiting in its lines. Walmart Neighborhood Market was my go to.
An older Russian Pastor once told me that there was a time, in Moscow, where you had to schedule your visit to the market to purchase our supplies.
You went to the government office with your list and arranged for a convenient time. If you missed it, you had to wait until next month. If they were out of items (normal) you would have to wait until next month.
I wonder, will they also assign an employee with a timer to follow each privileged shopper and evict any dawdlers when time’s up?
Walmart is the Antichrist. I hope every store burns.
Besides martial law, what laws allow governors or mayors to make these type of rulings????? Is it some particular special law or what??? I'm not a lawyer, so I have wondered about that. Opinions out there???
Went to the supermarket yesterday for the first time in two weeks. Some lady yelled at me for going down the aisle in the wrong direction. I had no idea.
How very communist of them!!!!!
Well, there goes their standing as being mightier than Amazon.
We went this morning early no crowds yet. They had the yellow police tape outside ready for the outdoor lines. Luckily we got in and out pretty quickly.
I am convinced there are people who are enjoying this.
They get to wield a little power they wouldn’t otherwise have.
Treating everyone like they are school children and they are crossing guards.
I have had walmart workers give me the extended hand indicating stop. I was getting to close to the little “x” they had taped on the sidewalk
Some enjoy the idea of shared sacrifice (moderates) while others get their stones off with shared misery (leftist).
The whole Green New Deal is shared misery and it’s coming sooner than you think. If we don’t cut out this non sense and
get back to work.
