Walmart announced it will limit the number of people inside its stores at the same time during the COVID-19 pandemic.....Starting Saturday, we will limit the number of customers who can be in a store at once. Stores will now allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a stores capacity, according to a release. Store employees will start a line at a single-entry door and will tell customers to go there to queue. They will then be allowed in the store one-by-one, according to the company.
Associates and signage will remind customers of the importance of social distancing while theyre waiting to enter a storeespecially before it opens in the morning, the store wrote.
Customers will be admitted inside one at a time when a store reaches capacity.
Well also institute one-way movement through our aisles next week in a number of our stores, using floor markers and direction from associates. We expect this to help more customers avoid coming into close contact with others as they shop, the Arkansas-based retailer said.
And once customers check out, they will be directed to exit through a different door than they entered, which should help lessen the instances of people closely passing each other, it said.
Target on Thursday announced a similar measure to promote social distancing as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus continues to spread.

New York City has all of those buildings with elevators. Imagine being packed inside an elevator with all those people and touching the button for the ground floor that countless people have touched before you. One person infected with the virus could sneeze and the entire elevator load of people are infected.
Its becoming a Crisis Situation, I tell Ya !!!
Must.. find ...MILKDUDS....soo.......

See any town, red state hospital interviews???
They’ll bus em in, row the boat in the parking lot propaganda
Mrs Infool7 has been scamming all of them
from our local Walmart but the kids keep
running off with them.

They’ll bus em out to our town hospital, for their “rowing boat on asphalt” interviews.
Weeping lady doctors and all.
Why not just require anyone going into those areas to be wearing a mask and use hand sanitizer going in?
Plus, they think people don’t touch food items and then put them back, select another, etc.?
WM grocery is “ok” unless one wants to sort through the bananas and so on...
Since our local Wal-Mart’s have been out of sanitizer at the entrance on my last three visits, I think they should address that sort of problem 1st...
I may have to start making My own.
Lets see now, sugar, Karo, milk, butter, pinch of salt, Cocoa Powder...-MOM ! Can I use the gas range top and try to make candy again? I promise to keep the Fire Extinguisher in My other hand this time.😷
Im screwed there as I dont have any cattle.
One of my cattle recently took up residency in the freezer so we got that one out of the way:)
I wonder if Wal-Mart will expand the grocery sections to replace sections like electronics?
They also need to fix some of the wanky behavior that occurs on their website.
I have sanitizer in the car and use it (including on any door handles I touch) when I hit the car.
I’m giving anything brought home from the grocery a good washing or other decontamination (let set 5 days in a warm room, in the sun, whatever works out best).
Bags to re-use go in a que for later use, or in the back of the spare car to cook on a sunny afternoon.
Produce and date coded perishables like milk are a big problem to buy online. Who wants to stock up on milk that is going to expire in 5 days?
I’ve lost ten pounds since last spring/summer and need new lightweight pants for work soon. Wonder where the heck am I going to go for them. I have a bag of returns (Two appliance type items and some lunch meat that showed expiry date of a week before we purchased) sitting in my trunk from a few weeks ago, as the store is “not accepting returns” right now. So...what if this doesn’t end I don’t want to order online hoping pants will fit and if they don’t I have to keep them and keep spending till it “works.” I refuse to order clothing on-line as I have never been happy with anything going that route. Chit just ain’t the same I tell ya.
The only thing that has changed for me in this quarantine is the way I shop. Due to a chronic auto immune disease, I’ve been basically shut in for 25 years. Four in the morning is the best time for me to shop, and until this insanity and MSM-engendered panic, it was working just fine.
Now, because the store hours everywhere, as well as access, have become so restricted, my body is reacting in subtle ways to tell me a relapse is imminent.
I really want things to get back to normal.

A cadre of other Freepers decided to go into attack mode, accusing others of "spreading hysteria!"
I get it: they are angry, frustrated, and perhaps even fearful. They lost 401K values, stock value, a job, or just want this entire episode to "go away." Join the club: so does everyone.
But it is never, ever imprudent to advise people to stock up on food, needed medical supplies, and other essentials.
What's even more strange is that someone in Anytown USA thinks he or she can post their wonderful experience at their local market, and then portend to speak for the rest of the country on how good or bad things are out there vis a vis food and supplies.
Terror??? Seriously???
I do take this disease quite seriously. Do I feel annoyed when other people come close to me in the store? You bet. Terrified? No.
These “terrified” people will be fouling their underpants should they start getting symptoms.
I believe this decree will only cause our worst citizens to panic or to become unruly.
POnly had to wait 15 minutes at Wal Mart yesterday to get in, in Presque Isle , Maine.
There was a continuous muted flow of customers, and it was easy to move along expeditiously with so few in the store.
In store policy; stay six feet apart.
Eggs were in short supply, rationed to one package per check out sale.
Aroostook County had its first 2 conformed cases of Covid 19 yesterday, both out of state people seeking sanctuary from the city.
Eff WalMart then. I won’t be waiting in its lines. Walmart Neighborhood Market was my go to.
If they choose to close they will be looted and then burnt to the ground. The natives will become restless.
The seniors I have encountered at these places are selfish and pushy. I am a senior but most of the time, I behave as though others are watching. Not these people. Disgusting.
