Walmart announced it will limit the number of people inside its stores at the same time during the COVID-19 pandemic.....Starting Saturday, we will limit the number of customers who can be in a store at once. Stores will now allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a stores capacity, according to a release. Store employees will start a line at a single-entry door and will tell customers to go there to queue. They will then be allowed in the store one-by-one, according to the company.
Associates and signage will remind customers of the importance of social distancing while theyre waiting to enter a storeespecially before it opens in the morning, the store wrote.
Customers will be admitted inside one at a time when a store reaches capacity.
Well also institute one-way movement through our aisles next week in a number of our stores, using floor markers and direction from associates. We expect this to help more customers avoid coming into close contact with others as they shop, the Arkansas-based retailer said.
And once customers check out, they will be directed to exit through a different door than they entered, which should help lessen the instances of people closely passing each other, it said.
Target on Thursday announced a similar measure to promote social distancing as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus continues to spread.

Besides martial law, what laws allow governors or mayors to make these type of rulings????? Is it some particular special law or what??? I'm not a lawyer, so I have wondered about that. Opinions out there???
This over-reaction by all levels will kill far more people than the Virus.
Exactly as China ordered...
Soviet style bread lines will do wonders for consumer confidence. No doubt.
The Fearbros will never be happy. Next will be masks required. Meanwhile, the economy is nuked and we are headed for a years long recession. Thanks for nothing Wu Flu addicts.
Someone pee in your cornflakes this morning ?
Went to the supermarket yesterday for the first time in two weeks. Some lady yelled at me for going down the aisle in the wrong direction. I had no idea.
You have to laugh at the stores with all these social distancing protocols that don’t even have wipes for their cart handles (or better yet, one of their cattle herder designated to this).
I am going to go sit in the parking lot and watch the first time a Wally World associate tries to tell one of these big fat welfare cows that she can't come in the store right now because it isn't her turn.
Should be very entertaining.
dont give them ideas
I just want to look at them and say boo
bull shit!
I am in CA. we were supposed to be overwhelmed with cases according to their models and as of yesterday we had 10,000 cases with 245 fatalities in a population of 40 million!! NY, NJ, LOUISIANA because of Mardi Gras hospitals are not on overload even in NY most hospitals are not on overload just a few districts the numbers on the ground DO NOT justify shutting down the entire country!! NY wont even let patients use the drug hydroxicloroquine if things were that bad WHY NOT why wont the governor let the drugs be used??
Right, it’s the transportation which is why the suburbs will be the worst too. I’m fine with not visiting the city again until DeBlasio is gone.
Word.
They don't need our business anyway.
There’s a lot of not-so-great in that video. Quaratining non perishables is fine, but biodegradables? A Dr. should know better than to use the same rag, even with disinfectant, to clean the whole lot. If one thing had the virus on it, he spread it to everything he wiped after. Then he shakes the bread wrapper, depositing any virus particles over the bread which is then sealed in an incubator. And washing consumables in solvents can make you sick. Safer to avoid produce that is not in containers, wrappers or peelable and wash it as you normally would with clean hands and surfaces before and after.
How very communist of them!!!!!
I’ve read you can freeze milk...haven’t tried it yet though.
Lactose milk doesn’t last as long as regular once it’s opened though.
It doesn’t help that officials were once saying this isn’t airborn. Truth is, we still don’t know if it is and to what degree. That 3 hour study finding was using a viral load well beyond that found in a person and did not specify if it was still viable. That said, the way this spreads like wildfire would suggest it is spread to some extent through breathing and talking, likely more so in close, enclosed, prolonged contact (which would explain why we’re seeing higher rates among bus drivers than stock clerks). Until the science is on the same page, it would be prudent to wear face coverings and ban cell phone yapping in stores and shopping to 1-2 people/party.
Please record and post on social media. =)
Not sure what you were trying to say above, but regular milk contains lactose .. lactose-free milk does not.
My experience over the course of the past three years is that lactose-free milk stays good for approx. two months.
As an example, I bought a half gallon carton two or three weeks ago and the exipery date on the top says 'Good Til 08 May 2020'.
The previous carton I purchased (and opened) in mid-January had an exp. date of 26 Mar, and I just disposed of the small remainder last week.
I don't use much milk (obviously), and the lactose-free variety costs about half again as much as regular, but for my needs it's far and way the more economical buy.
