California's Newsom says coronavirus provides 'opportunity' to push progressive agenda
Fox News ^ | April 02 2020 | Michael Ruiz

California Gov. Gavin Newsom sees an “opportunity” to use the coronavirus outbreak to usher in new progressive policies in his state and elsewhere in the country, he said Wednesday.

“Absolutely, we see this as an opportunity reshape the way we do business and how we govern,” he said during a virtual press conference.

The remark came near the end of a long, winding answer to a question about whether he saw “the potential” in the crisis for “a new progressive era” in state and national politics.

Anymore doubts as to why the left and media are pushing lockdown all the time.

Anti-American POS Democrats intend to interrupt and delay the Trump coronavirus response to help the country.

They'll pay for this election day.

They’re making their move.

Most of us don’t want to be governed.

Heck, I remember our bus driver in the 60’s trying to stretch the bus’s governor going down the hills. Every day.

California’s been one big progressive agenda for years. Why use a virus as an excuse now?

Newsome and his ilk are ghouls who plan to use the death and misery of fellow citizens to make political gains.

That’s some weak propaganda. If the epidemic continues the way that it’s going so far, Democrats won’t even be able to maintain their false composure. That’s not a good characteristic for leadership.

California is somewhere over 11,000 cases now with around a couple of thousand in hospitals. The Governor there is whistling before entering a dark alley.

Just the kind of excuse the globalists needed to clamp down on all freedoms world wide, huh?

Especially religious freedoms. Orwell warned us in a novel.

He finally let the cat out of the bag. It was suspected all along they are using the crisis to push for more government control.

That's with a population of over 30 million. And with the epidemic most likely starting here what with all the flights to and from China, there's reason to believe we may have achieved herd immunity. If not, 11 thousand cases isn't bad. Especially when you figure many of those cases can be classified as recovered.

It's time to open California back up for business. But control freaks like Gov Nuisance would rather keep it shut down in order to "nudge" us towards Communism.

I suspect is stated in CA or WA due to the number of flights from China before begin stopped. NY probably got a lot of cases from Europe as they would realistically see more direct flights from that region, those flights lasted much longer increasing the number of possible cases to fly in.

Either way, I suspect it has been around longer then we think, probably causing cases back as far as Mid-Late November. Most were likely mild and people assumed it was bad cold or flu and shook it off.

Newsom is like a caterpillar coming out of hibernation/growth inside a cocoon. What emerges is the final product of the process.

With Gavin, he came out of his “liberal/progressive” cocoon only to reveal himself as a Marxist without the beautiful wings.

Comrade Newsom is a threat to America, pure and simple. Hope the people of California finally wake up to the dictatorial state they live in, both ideologically and geographically. Time for a backlash that will make the San Andreas Fault seem like child’s play.

11,000 cases out of population of 60 million. How many people get normal flu every year? For the past 3 weeks I’ve been saying this is a manufactured crisis and does not merit a lockdown.
