Blacks are more susceptible because of the melanin in their skin. They don’t make Vitamin D easily if at all, and VitD is a huge immunity booster.

It loves going after glycated hemoglobin (think obesity, A1C, diabetes, and the like).

I’m still waiting for the ingrown toenail preexisting condition numbers. Everything is a preexisting condition. Everyone, if you look hard enough, has something outside the accepted levels. Bet a lot has to do with NO itself and Mardi Gras.
Many years ago, we were supposed to vacation in NO. Walked around a few hours to see the sights. Sights, yeah, they had sights but not what we cared to be within a mile of so went back to our friends’ house and stayed there a couple days and left early. Never again.
