"We are writing to inform you that the WHCA Board has voted this evening to remove a news outlet from the rotation for a seat in the briefing room. We did this because a report for this outlet twice attended press briefings in contravention of this policy. ... We do not take this action lightly. This is a matter of public safety."

Disgusting.
The presence of a conservative reporter in the room constitutes a health emergency for the other reporters.
Big Brother has spoken!
While millions upon millions of citizens have lost their jobs...
Not a single Govt job has been interruped or lost during this virus hoax.
I’m not following the reasoning here.
Did OANN attend press briefings twice consecutively and are consecutive attendances against policy?
What? Seems stupid. If there’s a rotation policy, there should be WH staffers rotating press outlets per policy.
What nonsense!

The statement did not name the outlet it was kicking out of the rotation, but only Chanel Rion, a correspondent for the fringe conservative cable network OAN, was seen standing in the back of the room when the president called on her to ask a question.
Rion also attended the previous two days of press briefings, standing in the back of the back of the room on Tuesday. The Los Angeles Times reported on Wednesday that Rion was approached by a representative for the WHCA who asked her to leave because she wasnt in the rotation to cover that evenings briefing.
******
Rion refused, saying she was there as a guest of Stephanie Grisham, the White House press secretary, according to the Times.
******
SO ... as a guest of the White House press secretary, looks like #FakeNews will just have to [______________]
A small kerfuffle. Will get sorted out.
Apparently she was there as an invited guest and didn’t need to be scheduled via the rotation. I say just keep inviting her back.
The President won’t like this a bit. I bet he will give OANN access.
Its not their briefing room, right? They dont get to censor OAN
I encourage President Trump to remove the White House Correspondents Association from the White House permanently, and answer whatever questions he chooses from whatever reporters he chooses.
These people would have never dreamed of pulling this sort of crap under His Holiness Barack Obama.
No biggie, I’m sure Trump will give OANN anything they want regarding the briefings and go so far as to add a little extra.
The President wont like this a bit. I bet he will give OANN access.
This is the one i’ll be watching for.
She was standing in the back. This vilated their arbitrary occupancy rule. They turn around and shoot daggers with their eyes.
What a joke.
Lamestream media routinely violates decorum rules and yet.... nothing.

Splendid idea
Hey she’s kinda hot
Good riddance. They also just published a completely fake news article about the coronavirus:
https://www.oann.com/dr-anthony-fauci-backtracks-on-deadliness-of-virus/
Everything in the article is fake, including the date that Fauci made the comments (Feb 19th NOT March 26th) and the actual statistics in the article (”twice” the flu, .28%) which OANN invented from whole cloth.
Numerous people alerted them to the errors in the comments and other websites (including American Thinker) corrected the articles that were based on OANN’s fake statistics, but I guess the clicks were good because OANN is still running the fake story.

I can’t quite figure what made OANN stand out..../////
