... The U.S. governments foremost infection disease expert says the United States could experience more than 100,000 deaths and millions of infections from the coronavirus pandemic. ... I would say between 100,000 and 200,000 cases, he said, correcting himself to say he meant deaths. Were going to have millions of cases. But he added I dont want to be held to that because the pandemic is such a moving target. ...

Great minds...
Because unlike other flu's the WuFlu is highly contagious - infecting a large number of people in very short order and sending a disproportionately large number to hospitals, overwhelming the medical system. At least that's the standpoint from which the government and experts are acting.
So we are looking at about twice the number of death as we have during a bad flu season... its time to stop the insanity.
Clearly the earlier predictive models were wrong, by a factor of 10

Then throw in Faucis I dont want to be held to that.
I dont believe Fauci is doing it on purpose, but these kind of statements just add to the confusion. And they sow mistrust.
I would much prefer something like this (if possible): There is X% chance of Y happening.
"Still hearsay evidence. So I still dont believe she is not dead or incapacitated." - central_va | 02/17/2019 7:16:10 AM
I mean - this is long after she was known to be alive - so - your opinion is pretty much - well - it needs toilet paper - which is pretty hard to find. Because - you didn't even trust that Trump was honest enough to tell us she was dead.
Agree. Liked him at first, now he seems too “unsteady” with the facts. Dr. Birx seems extremely well prepared every time. I like the way she took the media’s hyper-panic down a few notches on Friday and busted them on it. Let’s see how she continues on ...
That was almost a prayer.
Fauci is an evil liar.
You’re 401k went down didn’t it?
Sorry dude, was going to happen lockdown or not.
He's also a Carter, Reagan, HW Bush, Clinton, GW Bush and Trump "official" and the most accomplished and highly regarded infectious diseases/immunologist in the past 50 years.
Lockdown keeps the adverse effects of the virus over a longer period of time but lowers the spike in patients at overwhelmed hospitals. This is a good thing.
I was skeptical about RGB status and so were a lot of us. I think with good reason.
The flu is killing a lot more people daily.
Why are we not in lockdown over that?
They pushed this narrative a month ago.
Still waiting for actual results to match last month’s extremene hysterical hype
Hey just a question...I have no agenda or ulterior motive as I am firmly emplaned on the rather wide wall between the two camps on this...are we aware of any FReepers who have the virus? Any notifications of FReepers being the hospital for the virus?
Their experiences would be very illuminating, if of course they or someone they know here could actually relay their experiences?
There will be if Fauci, the medical community, and liberal governors continue to hold up what appears to be a successful Hydroxy treatment. They will be held accountable.
As long as we're testing, the numbers will go up. There is no place else to go.
Excellent question.
