Everybody yelling out on the street and/or out the windows right now to cheer the health workers on. I guess this is going to be a regular thing at 7 p.m.
Our version of the Italians singing out the windows. Quarantine relief.
Yes, both of which make it too fast to catch in time. Whoever designed this was an evil genius.
Like I’ve been saying...here on the CV threads....it’s always about the Benjamins.
Follow the Benjamins.
Love it....not the reason for, but the meaning of.
Although, I did see a vid (maybe from Queens??) of someone singing on their fire escape and a passerby yelling “STFU!!”
Did you see that?
Yes. That was pure New York, but this is just the irrepressible human in all of us. A way of defying the isolation.
By the way, I love the comments that people are in “isolation”—with two or three members of their family.
It’s a good thing I got good and sick of being with other people before this happened.
18 industries.
As I wrote, you are either a consultant with your companies cookie cutter approach. Or you suck at your job. I would guess the consultant.
That is New York.
I love America.
Everything kills in different ways. Finding something unique about one doesn’t make it worse than the others. It makes it different in its way.
Most people are not first responders, and I suspect that with this even they will be fine: https://techstartups.com/2020/03/28/dr-vladimir-zelenko-now-treated-699-coronavirus-patients-100-success-using-hydroxychloroquine-sulfate-zinc-z-pak-update/?fbclid=IwAR2Vf74gtc-CtMoA7Gxu2E5RAvQ3N0uyrMU0oeSBT99sxcYmX1Agvv3csI0
Looks like it may have peaked:https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
And now that cures are being used, it may end up being even less of a concern than the Flu for years to come.
The same site everyone is using for the Wuhan virus stats:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
Just hit the site name to go to home to see the numbers.
.
So that is what is driving your confirmation-bias? Ah, I see. Its all about the Benjamins.
I don’t have a dog in this hunt. I’m seeing it from the outside. I understand that we do things even though we know that some will die. In the US we kill over 250 kids transporting them to and from school, but we don’t shut down the schools. It’s an acceptable death rate.
My country is Kentucky. It is federated with other countries to form a union that we call the United States. There is another similar one called the European Union. One of the members famously left it just a few months ago.
Stop with the disinformation.
12 of the 712 positives have died.
Not 18 industries. 18 companies. I was at three banks. And some were large companies and some were small companies and, yes, I was a consultant, sometimes 1099 and sometimes for another firm. and sometimes I was just an employee.
They are all different. I learned from each gig.
Has anyone in an area with a low number of cases been out to the grocery stores, in the last day or two? Busy?
Case numbers (even “per capita”) are still low in this region, so, with a N95 mask & other precautions risk should be pretty low — if stores are not crowded.
Last run, 6 days ago, I noticed that Wal Mart was doing much more to disinfect surfaces than Aldi, and, @ Wal Mart one can avoid those always suspect conveyors by using self-checkout.
I actually think that Italy could easily have 1 million untested infected people, but, the lower CFR that results in doesn’t help overwhelmed hospitals or their patients.
You posted a US stat and then a bunch of other numbers that are not US stats. That’s BS, whether they were world stats or just made up. Deliberate deception.
I pointed out your disinformation. Please point out mine.
Refresh my memory. What disinformation are you talking about?
Because I missed it.
