According to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), checks would be cut April 6.
Key provisions via Bloomberg:
Big Businesses: About $500 billion can be used to back loans and assistance to companies, including $50 billion for loans to U.S. airlines, as well as state and local governments. Small Businesses: More than $350 billion to aid small businesses, including $10 billion in SBA grants of up to $10,000 for small business costs, and $17 billion for SBA to cover six months of payments for businesses with current SBA loans. Hospitals: A $150 billion boost for hospitals and other health-care providers for equipment and supplies. Individuals: Direct payments to lower- and middle-income Americans of $1,200 for each adult, as well as $500 for each child. https://newslinks.net/details-of-2-trillion-coronavirus-stimulus-package-emerge/
No idea,I do know they will use direct deposit but how do they have that info?
Sounds suspiciously like a Bill of Attainder:
A bill of attainder (also known as an act of attainder or writ of attainder or bill of penalties) is an act of a legislature declaring a person or group of persons guilty of some crime and punishing them, often without a trial. As with attainder resulting from the normal judicial process...
does it include any aid or restrictions regarding American citizens and illegal aliens? No aid should be available to illegal aliens, including DACA illegal aliens. No aid for H1B or other visas, nor aid to companies that should choose to use them! Why not include e-Verify of all current and future workers as condition of any aid? That last would be great step to ensure that aid goes only to Americans.
One 3 Trillion dollar coin and change...
I wonder how they will get the -(Direct payments to lower- and middle-income Americans of $1,200 for each adult, as well as $500 for each child.)
Income Tax database?
Any Ideas?
(I tried posting this question once but it didn’t show up)
I love northern Italy. Did you ever ride Centovalli Rail? Runs between Domodossola and Locarno (Switzerland). Amazing ride. Gorgeous. And, there are palm trees in Switzerland!
I had a similar reaction. Swaped some currency, instant millionaire!
Maybe? and lost revenue from low ridership and in Virginia passengers now board the bus via the back door so the ride is ‘free’.
I know for sure they have my bank routing info as my tax refund was sent directly to my bank.
Aww, well!
(like your home page info on FR)
Said in another article they will use IRS & SS databases..
Four Key Facets of this Bill

3. $367 Billion in Loans to Small Businesses Goal is to help small businesses fund payroll.
4. $250 Billion in Expanded Unemployment Insurance Benefits:
· Provides unemployed individuals a flat weekly payment of $600 in addition to the ordinary benefits they would usually receive.

There are other provisions, but the above covers most of those effected.

I might normally agree with you, but this is a very unusual scenario. These redistribution payments are mainly aimed not so much at supporting people and families directly, but at ensuring that they can continue to meet their financial obligations to others.
Why would SS recipients get money? We're not being 'laid off' from it.
Most hospitals make their money on elective procedures, which are not happening right now
Most of the significant taxpayers won’t see a dime, but will eventually be asked to burden more of the brunt
anyone know what is considered a small business for this purpose. is it based on number of employees or revenue?
Again, much better would be to incentivize the employer to keep his employees on payroll, and remove the SSI payroll tax so ALL people keep more of their paycheck.
Or 10 Trillion Quarters.
********************************
Or 250 Trillion Pennies.
or 25 dollars after hyperinflation kicks in and they revalue the currency.
The people with the highest rent wont be eligible for this beccause they make more money to help pay the rent...such as NYC or San Francisco.
