Pelosi delays her coronavirus bill, says will try to pass Senate's without most members present
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that she will attempt to pass the Senate's coronavirus economic stimulus package – putting aside the alternative, projected $2.5 trillion measure that she proposed.
The California Democrat said she'll try to pass the Senate's projected $1.8 trillion measure by unanimous consent, meaning House members can say yes without having to come to Capitol Hill to vote.
She blinked!
There was no need for that.
The conversation would have taken place between the President and Governors Cuomo (NY) and Newsome (CA). Those two have surely been all over the asses of Schumer and Pelosi in the last 24 hours.
Trump just produced papers on Fox virtual town hall showing Cuomo had opportunity to buy thousands of ventilators in 2015 at low cost. He refused. It’s his responsibility to prepare for pandemics not the POTUS.
“Glad to hear this but Trump is getting crucified here on the east coast. Cuomo for not giving their state 4000 respirators and Philly for hinting going back to work.”
That’s not going to change. The people who wished President Trump’s demise are now demanding he do everything for them and make a home delivery of toilet paper.
President Trump said the governors would make the decision on how their states get back to business.
First there’s more of the 15 day pause and then the drug trials with the combination therapy for the ChiCom Virus will be tested.
Pray that this works because it’s the way to get the nation out of the grave.

News reports show Cuomo rejected buying 15,000 ventilators back in 2014.

Pelosi wants the GOP to own the bill. Then later no matter what the economic climate will claim it wasn’t enough, a bailout for corps, etc.
It’s a trick. She will “encourage” (Demand?) all the Dems to vote no so it will be defeated and then go back to McConnell and say “See? Your bill won’t pass”.
That's like blaming President Bush for the New Orleans school buses that were allowed to get flooded in a parking lot instead of the mayor using them to evacuate at-risk residents from Katrina.
