Give Joe Biden some credit. On Jan. 27, he published an op-ed in USA Today recognizing that the coronavirus outbreak could become a big problem. But he devoted nearly the entire piece to bashing President Trump, then fighting off impeachment from Biden's old Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill, and nearly none of it to explaining what he, Joe Biden, would do to fight the pandemic.

Biden can point to his Obamacare experience where his administration had 2 years running start to program a website to accept Obamacare application from 30 million prospective insurance purchasers and failed miserably. For months few were able to purchase insurance. Trump came from a standstill stop with an unexpected pandemic to get testing kits for potentially 330 million citizens. He is building testing momentum after 2 weeks and is on the cusp of making millions of self swab test kits available where one can get results in 45 minutes.
