"I hope you will become vegetarian after watching of this video. Wuhan Exotic market in China is the place where any disease can start including of the current coronavirus outbreak. Generally meat is poison for a human being especially this type of meat sold in a market like that - fried dogs, cats, snakes and bats."
I used to watch that show, too, but the dogs would really get to me in this video. Thanks for letting me know!!
The world is not a kind place and evil things have happened as you stated and will continue to happen until the world ends.
It’s been a week since I have left the house. I’m trying to get ready to teach my classes online, something my particular program was not prepared to do. (I’ll be ready, though, the next time things go belly-up.) I hate to turn on the news in the morning because of the fresh hell each day brings. I’m not in a good mood today; not enjoying the “staycation” some people apparently like so they can get mellow and do the things they haven’t had the time to do. No. My first thought this morning was, why should people here in Indiana (and other places) get sick and die, and put up with all other kinds of social and economic chaos, just because of the nasty, primitive, barbaric eating habits of some people in China? (Assuming that’s where this came from.) This s**t needs to stop. Mao got rid of the opium trade. Getting rid of this disgusting business should be within Xi’s power. Civilized countries should isolate China (yeah, right) until this is taken care of.
If the virus came from a lab in Wuhan, that’s an entirely different problem.
Thanks for the heads-up!!
I’m a strong person but to view this would leave me crying and very upset.
Ideed, as is, "Generally meat is poison for a human..."
Total nonsense, stopped reading beyond this stupid comment. Having spent time in Asia, Pacific, and Latin America, I observed that different cultures have cuisine that seems strange to me. In Peru, they love guinea pigs, in Asia anything that walks, flies, wiggles, and swims is yummie to their pallet. I've eaten quite a bit of that, to be a good guest. When I have a choice, I choose something else. The problem is how they handle the meat. Don't drink their water either.
Praise the Lord I was born in America. I have never taken it for granted. Not even as a child. The longer I live, the more deeply and humbly grateful I am for the gracious gift I received from the Lord being born and raised and living in the USA.
I can’t condemn the Chinese for eathing dogs but it just looks so wrong to me. Dogs are simply so intellitegent, innocent, and dependent upon us that I can’t conceive of killing and eating one, absent impending starvation such as the Donner party faced. That is the only scenario I could imaging eating a dog.
But I won’t condemn it. We eat cattle, and the Indians think we are wrong for doing that. We kill many porpoises in fishing nets, and theym may be of dog intillgence, as may be whales. They may be more intelligent. Who knows?
It is very difficult to see people roasting dogs. But I won’t condemn it.
Very well said.
On his way out of yesterdays virus convo, the Surgeon GenEral sai 3 times in passing by the mic, Dont drink the blood.
Big difference between eating in the US vs. eating in China. There is nothing wrong with the Chinese food in the US. I wish this ugly narrative would go away.
Anyone who’s been to China...including recently (as I have)... isn’t shocked by any example of Third World filth in China. An overwhelming majority of China’s citizens live like savages...even today.
Who knows?
Cant imagine how awful that place must smell...
There's 'meat' and' there's 'meat'.. We have teeth that can 'tear' human flesh which isn't justification for becoming cannibals... We have enough upper body strength to kill an infant with our bear hands - which can't be a cultural excuse to murder the young. Having the capacity to 'do' something is not license.
It is curious...
