Fauci seems to think he knows best when Fance and Italy are using it as well as China and South Korea. Why Fauci wont let it happen is beyond me. Remember if the FDA allows it, Doctors don’t have to be worried about lawsuits. Now they are open to them.

The slow walk on HCQ and zinc is directly correlated to how soon the release of remdisivir and a vaccine. HCQ is too cheap to be allowed into the general population dontchaknow.

They are completely in CYA mode.It has nothing to do with sticking necks out or avoiding risk and everything to do with maintaining bureaucratic prerogatives. They are paid to follow a process and if they can make the process more complex they can get an increase in position and hire assistants to do their jobs for them.
It's about power and position. Period. They have authority even if negative and they are going to use it.

This is the doctor who had the authority to cancel the primaries when the governor couldn’t. This is the doctor who “ordered” Ohio to shelter in place. This is the most powerful person in the state of Ohio right now.

That’s what they should do.
It is approved.
FDA can do an Emergency Authorization to use it for this which could make more doctors use it.
